Enjoy an upstairs apartment in a recently renovated historic building. This was built as the Bank of Latta and since used as a post office, ice cream parlor, and laundromat. The downstairs now houses a law office. The upstairs has a street entrance. Each of the two bedrooms has an adjoining bath. There is a full kitchen, den, separate study, and laundry room. The study overlooks Main Street, Latta. There is a patio area on the roof accessed by a ship's ladder.

Next door is a coffee shop with consignment items on the second floor. Across the street is a specialty shop, Treasures from the Attic and just two doors down is a pharmacy. Abingdon Manor, a local bed and breakfast, hosts nightly gourmet meals with reservations. Florence and nearby Marion have many dining opportunities. Marion and Mullins have many antique shops and are only 15 to 20 minutes away. Latta itself has an area of historic interest. There is the Dillon County Museum with a caboose as an annex. Across the street is the Latta Library, one of the few Carnegie libraries. Across from that is an old post office and Vidalia Academy, a one room schoolhouse. Veteran's Park has bricks honoring veterans of past wars.

Myrtle Beach is straight down Highway 501 just one hour away. Pineland Golf Course is 20 minutes away and Florence is 20 minutes away just off of I-95. Interstate 95 is just 5 minutes from Latta leading north and south. The Darlington Raceway is only a 30 minute drive.
