Why the Owner Chose Palm Valley Country Club
I asked my tennis and golfing buddies "where is the best community in the Palm Desert area
for tennis and golf?"...and they almost all said "PALM VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB"! I have traveled to the condo from my home in Monarch Beach regularly because I find it so much fun and so peaceful being away from "home chores"! I have remodeled it and stocked it with just about everything you might want, so come and enjoy it! This neighborhood also has the friendliest people around!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Unique to my condo are the 2 bikes and golf cart, fully stocked kitchen (plus some food and spices/sugars,etc.), games in the wet bar cabinet; most owners don't offer that! :)
Sometimes i just "do nothing" like reading by one of the many pools, taking an afternoon nap,
watch movies on the new HDTV in the living room, visit with my next-door neighbors or shop...
most of the time, I'm playing tennis or golf or going out to dinner to one of the wonderful restaurants around town or just staying home for a leisurely cocktail & barbeque...

Chris: Our visit was from September 24 to October 1, 2010. This is our second consecutive year staying in your home. This year, another couple joined us, who had not stayed at Palm Valley Country Club before. We now have 4 people in agreement as to the quality of your accomodation and PVCC. Your listing is accurate, except that it cannot convey how stress free it is to stay in your home. You have provided everything from the obvious to the small, intricate touches! With resepct to Palm Valley Country Club, we found everyone to be helpful, courteous and friendly, from Jessica at the reception desk to Greg in the Fitness Centre. Lima at the tennis pro shop is the best game arranger I have encountered on the Mainland or Hawaii. Your home, the attention to details to enhance the stay of visitors and the facilities at PVCC combined to make for a wonderful vacation. I hope we can come again next year and book for a longer period. None of us wanted to leave. Many thanks, Simon Wosk P.S. to VRBO - I note the VRBO "recommendation" categories include "Girls getaway", but not "Guy's getaway". This would be ideal for a "Guys' golf and/or tennis getaway". We are having a super holiday, everything is perfect just like you said. This is a beautiful part of the world and I have taken lots of pics to show back home. Your condo is lovely and it is excellent, all the extras you provide with the cupboard stocked, etc. My husband has been making cocktails, he thinks this is fab. We have been out daily on the bikes which I really enjoy as I love to keep fit but couldn't walk in this heat! The buddy is also great to get around. As you said, we are definitely not disappointed. I keep emailing my daughter who is getting very jealou as the weather back in Scotland is terrible. I keep going on about the heat, it is really warm but we're adapting. I think I could get used to this lifestyle. It must be great to know you can come down here and relax away from it all when you feel like it, you are very lucky and I thank you for sharing your home with us. We are having a ball and we still have time to enjoy it even more. A big thank you from the two of us...Sandra

We stayed for a week for our 25 year anniversary in this beautiful condo. Everything is freshly remodeled and furnished with everything. Palm Valley CC is very central, our favorite location in the Desert. This is a quiet corner unit. PVCC staff was rather snippy about using the Platinum membership guest pass. Be sure you have a formal lease agreement or they will give you a hard time. Really enjoyed the fitness center & classes.
Owner response:For future renters, I have taken care of the "poor" treatment of tenants by one girl working the front desk of the Club, and a formal lease is now not required, just the email stream confirming the rental will suffice! The management of the Club knows that I require hospitable treatment of my clients! :) Christine, Owner

Chris, we have owned and stayed at numerous vacation homes in Canada and the US. Nowhere have we stayed where so many amenities and the "little things" have been thought of.
