Having holidayed in Florida for several years, you become accustomed to the 'over-description' of homes which, inevitably, are not what you expected when you open the door. But with Villa Foster - well, it was just perfect; in fact, we would go so far as to say it was 'vastly under-described'! Everything about the home was what you would expect if YOU owned it. Everything you could possibly need was provided - yes, even down to Kitchen Towels and Dishwasher tablets etc. This was a 'First' for us in any Florida rental home. The moment you opened the front door the house was welcoming; everything was well laid-out and spotlessly clean. The master bedroom was ideal and the master bathroom enormous. Many days we never ventured out from the house. We were happy to sit by the pool, doing absolutely nothing and watching the world pass by overlooking the canal. When you did go travelling, everything that you wanted was close-by; Publix & Wallmart within 2 miles and loads of restaurants within 1 mile along Del Prado Ave. We found a Sunday Market for the weekly vegetables - go there, its great. Down Del Prado heading south. At the junction of the bridge (by the Wells Fargo Bank) take a right and go a couple of blocks (3/4 mile or so) and its on the right. The boat. What can we say? Its a nice clean idea craft for use whilst you are on holiday. OK, its not the newest of crafts - but what do you expect? Its idea for travelling through the miles of canals looking at how the other-half lives and its safe enough to take out into the river. One note of comment; when you get the instruction from Capt Ron ask for 3-4 lessons on DOCKING. Its SO difficult and yet looks so easy. The communication from owner Dino was faultless; he really did provide a perfect service. Would we recommend Villa Foster? YES, without any restrictions whatsoever. Don't bother looking at any other rental properties - book Villa Foster because nowhere can match it within the price range.

The Villa Foster transformation will finally be completed by the end of April - 2012 with brand new stainless steel appliances to go along with with all of the other upgrades that we've already made. The house is awesome, extremely well furnished with everything you would want to call it a home. Great neighborhood, very private but close to food, shopping and restaurants. Our granddaughter (age 3) loved Papa's cottage and pool and can't wait to go there on vacation again (along with the rest of us). Pool and patio are so relaxing. Having the boat was such a bonus. Did lots of fishing, island hopping and going out to lunch thanks to Capt. Ron's local knowledge and the charts for all the great spots to visit on the water. We would definitely recommend this villa for a great vacation - there is something for everyone no matter what your age. Tom & Marlene (March 2011)

Looking for a touch of Paradise in a peaceful setting? Look no further than Villafoster! From the moment we arrived the wow factor told us we had picked well.....and that was before getting to the pool, the waterfront or the boat. From the point we finished our extensive research and got in touch with Dino the help and information provided perfectly matched our needs but still left the Villa to wow us beyond expectation. For peace, quiet and total relaxation there can be no better place....for a little adventure and excitement get out on the friendly waters of the Caloosahatchee and the bays....for those not thinking of getting a villa with a boat - you MUST have a rethink! For those for whom the thought gives a little apprehension - worry not. Dino provides Capt. Ron whose marine & local area expertise are second to none. Yes the area provides vast choice - we (for one) WILL be getting back to Villafoster AND as soon as we possibly can and are already looking at deals for Sept 11! Each time one returns from a great day out in the car or boat the wow factor returns....from the ease of the remote access via the garage electric doors or the ease of return to the boat lift. Either way it's so easy to slip into the pool. And easier still to slip into what must be close to heaven! Lunch by boat at a local restaurant or a picnic on an island amongst playful dolphins are an experience we should should have - REPEATEDLY!! Can't wait to be there again Nige & Lynne UK

Perfect Family Vacation

My family and I returned on May 26th from Villa Foster and our vacation was perfect...The home is lovely, fully stocked, right on the canal, and so very private and relaxing! It was perfect for our two boys (ages 5 and 6) and we will definitely be back. Vicki and David were so kind and everyone needs a CPT Sal (he looked out for us regarding the boat and anything water related, answering all of our questions of where and how)! Having the boat right there was the crowning jewel of the entire vacation but the ammenities and comforts of home cannot be beat! Offering an extremely reasonable price for our family vacation, Villa Foster is your BEST bet for your next vacation.. Karen, Joe, Joey, and Jesse

Great week at Villa Foster 04/09. The villa has everything you will need and is centrally located. When swimming in the pool or enjoying the lanai it feels removed from everything. The pool and dock are prettier than the pictures. Nice views and lanscaping. Lots of flora and fauna. Got some great pictures . Captain Sal was great, very professional, looked out for us on the water, good sense of humor. We learned a lo t from him. Went to Sanibel twice, great shelling. Would recommend this villa to everyone, owner very helpful, villa clean, neighborhood quiet.

We had a great two week break at Villa Foster in August 2008. Weather was fantastic, villa was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Boat is excellent - had many enjoyable trips in it. In a great position regarding local amenities, e.g food shops and restaurants. Recommend Miromar Outlet Mall about 20 miles away - great bargains for British visitors! Drove to Key West for overnight stay - would recommend Ocean Keys resort.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

we had a brilliant week in your villa at Cape Coral. The boat was great and we visited Picnic Island (got bit quite alot there though), Captiva, Lovers Key and Cayo Costa. Capt. Ron gave us some good tips and I soon got the hang of it. It really was very relaxing and peaceful which made a welcome change from our time in Orlando. Our neighbours here in England who also own in Orlando and are out there for a month right now and visited us Friday afternoon and they too were impressed with the lovely area and your excellent villa. It was a 5 1/2 round trip for them but they said it was well worth it as they had never been to Cape Coral. Not made our plans for next year yet but when I do I will drop you a line as we would love to stay in your villa again.

I think that the boat check out with Captain Ron, or any of our check out captains, really sets our guests up for an excellent boat rental Cape Coral. They are very careful to ensure you are comfortable with the boat, its safety equipment and features as well as the unique challenges of our local waterways. While we provide all the charts and equipment you will need during your stay, our check out captains tailor their check out to each guest and make sure they are able to maximize their enjoyment of the boat. This was the best vacation we had gone on. Having the boat was so much fun. A 19 foot boat comes with the rental - You are able to go all the way to Sanibel Island - We fished there and caught small shark . The family had a ball - . The house is so nice - 3 bedrooms - everything you would want to call this a home. The pool is so nice - screened in. We fished right off the canal and caught many fish. This is a place you need to say - for good family fun.

Quite simply put, our stay at Villa Foster was absolutely great! The property was clean, brightly decorated, peaceful and comfortable. The pool and patio added a ton of relaxation. The boat was in surprisingly great condition and provided worry-free safe fun on the endless water ways. The neighborhood was calm and unimposing. Considering the whole package, Villa foster is an outsatnding value for Florida fun. We truly had an executive style vacation on a common budget.

A beautiful piece of paradise

My stay at Villa Foster was absolutely incredible. The majority of the days were spent out on the lanai; the pool was most enjoyable. The boat was the cherry on the cake..such an amazing way to spend the days and evenings. Fishing off the boat was a blast and the warm summer breeze on the way home, floating through the sunsets made the exerience so un-real. My stay was comfortable, heart-filled and memorable. Everything I needed was right at my reach..a bonus while on vacation. The only downside was having to leave. The house was amazing, the boat was fabulous and my time spent at Villa Foster was easily the most enjoyable vacation I've had in a long time. I am eager to return and make many more memories. Thank you for such a wonderful getaway--everything about it was beautiful.

Fabulous Spring Break Escape

Our visit to Cape Coral the week of March 8-15/08 became the setting of our best spring break ever! Villa Foster exceeded our expectations in every way from the furnishings to dining on the lanai to swimming in the heated pool. It all combined to provide a truly tropical ambience equally enjoyed by the young and the young at heart! The boat that came with the package was a super bonus, whisking us off to nearby beaches, dolphin sightings and shell-hunting on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Seeing the lights of Villa Foster as we returned in the balmy breezes of the evenings was like "rest and relaxation" beckoning us back to our "little bit of paradise"...... a place we want to return to again and again. This is what vacation is all about!!

Thanks to Villa Foster my vacation was perfect. The pool overlooking the canal was a winter treat for us New Englander's. We spent many hours relaxing and enjoying the sunshine while poolside. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything vacationers need. I would love to spend the entire winter here.

After power shopping for hours on our way to Cape Coral, Villa Foster was amazingly restful and welcoming on the night we arrived. The beds were comfortable. The pool was the perfect temperature and the house very clean and well stocked. Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

This was the best vacation that we have ever had! Villa Foster was amazingly clean and comfortable! There were three bedrooms and a nice sized fully furnished kitchen and living area for our enjoyment. As we looked outside, the view was amazing! There was a beautiful pool and a canal where the boat was docked. There was a huge screened in patio area with tables and lounge chairs and a BBQ. I would highly recommend this vacation spot to everyone. You have to go - you will not ever regret it! It was the most relaxing vacation that we have ever had!!!!

This property is one that is not to be overlooked!! Our stay at this home is the reason we return to Cape Coral year after year and have made it a family tradition. The home is just beautiful and so warm and inviting. Vicki the owner and Carole the property manager saw to our every need and assured us a carefree vacation!! The pool is a true focal point as that is where we spent most of our time with our children ... when we were not exploring the area on the great boat!! The breezes are wonderful. The kitchen divine. We loved exploring the waters and beaches and restaurants by beach. But when it was time for a land day, the shopping and restaurants and theaters were nearby and abundant!! I love this home and highly recommend it!!

We have been lucky to have spent time in March the past three years at Villa Foster. We consider it our little piece of Paradise. Never anything to worry about because the maintenance is regular and ongoing, closeness to shopping and other services, cuts down on time away from the property, and the boat only enhances the vacation with the addition of fishing and general sightseeing. We love this place in the sun.

This vacation rental with boat access was a great location in Southwest Florida. With over 160 vacation rentals in the Cape Coral area, this one exceeds its expectations with boat access right to the scenic waters. Boat lovers will truly love this quiet, relaxing atmosphere with easy and quick access to boating during your entire stay. The home was very well appointed with all the comforts of home, and the boat access really allowed us to share a wonderful little vacation for our family of 5. The property owners were very attentive to our stay, and very honest and trustworthy. We will definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in a nice boating vacation.
