Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: Marc and Janice Sirois built a second home in the Rangeley Mountains and would love to share it with you. We do live in the Great State of Maine so we get to enjoy our 'Ruffin It' Cabin as often as we possibly can. We both work very hard both keeping up two homes and operating a very successful Home inspection Business as well as Janice's full time job outside of our business. We have one son who lives in Southern NH and can't get enough of Rangeley as well. He and his significant other along with our 'Granddog' visit often.
Why the Owner Chose Rangeley:
We have been coming to this area for most of our lives with Family and just can't get enough of what is often referred to as GOD's COUNTRY.
Originally our plan was to build it and sell it but after months of watching the final touches come together then months of decorating with no detail left out, we fell in Love 'once again'.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet:
Christmas Week was unforgettable as you can imagine, snow falling on Christmas Eve along with the tree lights reflecting in the huge prow front windows. New Year's Eve gatherings with family and friends sharing food, laughs and lots of music.
Our many, many snowmobiling experiences have been wonderful, exploring the VIEWS from the many Mountain tops.
Skiing at Saddleback Mountain (expanding each year) is less than 10 miles away for our son and guests to enjoy.
Summer has proved to be our favorite season at the cabin. Many weekends of entertaining by our Fireside Grill is very rewarding for us.
Pig Roast in 2007 with 75 guests in the pouring rain was even a great time.
We keep a log book for guests to share their experiences as well and they all have great stories. Hope you will have some to share some day as well...
