Why the Owner Chose Sugar Mountain
We were one of the first families to move into the Reserve (we are unit number 1A). What sold us was the view - we are one of the few units to have a perfect southeastern view which gives us spectacular sunrises AND sunsets on Grandfather Mountain and the Linville Ridge.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
There are not many homes on the east coast at 5,000' altitude which allows for cool summers and great snow. When it is raining in Banner Elk at the bottom of Sugar Mountain, it is often snowing at our home. During ski season, the very top of the slopes is located just at the end of Craggy Point. During the summers, great hiking, great fly fishing and great family activities are just around the corner - literally.
