Everything was ready when we arrived, what you see is what you get, no negative surprises, we had a great vacation, owner is great! 5 minute walk to the beach.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Just got back from a great vacation st this condo. As others have said, "what you see is what you get"! This really is a comfortable and clean condo. Nicely situated, just about 200 yards from the beach access. Just about everything you might need to make your vacaton super good. There is a nice little pool to the (shaded) side of the condo's. Very easy to find. The owner and his local agent were extremely nice and helpful, with great tips on where to go for the best local food etc. Dont hesitate to go to "Joe's" (behind the Port Isobel Post Office) for great seafood... ask for the "Nathan Special"..grilled, not fried. Kelly's Irish Pub is just a block down the street and serves draft Guiness for those who are Guiness lovers.

This was a great find for us on South Padre Island. We originally stayed here for 2 weeks in March 3 years ago and then returned the following year for the full month of March. This will be our 2nd full month of March stay this year and we truly look forward to it. We come from Ontario Canada and have found the owner to be very helpful and accomodating in all our dealings. The condo is always clean and very well prepared for our arrival. If any problems arise there is a local contact who is just super and very pleasant to deal with. We have friends who winter in San Benito, so it is close for us to get together once in a while wihile we are there. The location is north of the causeway so noise from spring breakers is kept to a minimum as the younger crowd seems to congregate in the south part of the island near where the causeway connects to the mainland. There are plenty of restaurants on the island and close by in Port Isabel. There is a small grocery store on the island and a Walmart SuperCentre and HEB grocery store in Port Isabel. Plenty of shopping close by or travel to Brownsville or Harlingen within 1 hour. Airports are also in these locations if you want friends or family to join you for part of your stay. All pictures are an accurate description of the property and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends or relatives. Last year we even met some fellow Canadians who got together with others at a local restaurant/pub to play cards one night a week for a few hours. We look forward to renewing those aquiantances from last year. Like the listing says, it is only steps from the beach. Great location!

We stayed at this condo with our two grandchildren and two teenagers. It was a nice condo at affordable and very reasonable pricing compared to other rentals on the island. As mentioned, it's right across the street from the beach which is easily accessible. The owner is very prompt and easy to work with and we will definately refer friends and family!

I have stayed here on numerous occasions with my family. The property is very clean and spacious. Its located right across from the beach with easy access to markets and stores. The owner is easy to work with and extremely reliable. Have referred friends on multiple occasions and will continue to do so.

This was a nice 2 bed room unit at very affordable prices compared to other condos on South Padre Island. The listing was accurate and you get exactly what you see in the pictures. You just have to cross a street and you are 20 steps away from the beach. The property was well maintained and clean. The owner was very straightforward and honest in his dealings. I would recommend this propery.
