"Reynolds MilliLago House" is a four bedroom, three and a half bath, 3500 square foot home which is conveniently located inside Reynolds Plantation with over 100 feet of lake frontage on Beautiful Lake Oconee.
Reynolds Plantation is a 1500 acre vacation development with 80 Miles of Shoreline on Beautiful Lake Oconee. Reynolds Plantation has been named by the Robb Report as "The Best of the Best" in Golf Resorts in the United States with 2 of the courses being heralded as the Top 100 courses in the United States by Golf Digest Magazine.
While the golfers in your group are enjoying themselves on the 117 holes of golf available (18 more holes are being built), you can enjoy the peace, serenity and the soulfulness of the Ritz Carlton Spa which was named one of the Top 5 Spas in the United States by Conde Naste Traveler Magazine. While you are enjoying your day, your kids will love the fun and friendship of Reynolds Kids Camp or the Plantation Pool, Plantation Playground, Great Waters Pool, or the Reynolds Plantation Nature Center where they will be able to see all the animals of the area.

We just completed a $200,000 renovation in April 2007. The renovation included new wide-plank distressed hardwood flooring through out the main level giving the entire house a prestigious “lake home” feel, fresh paint with designer colors on the interior and exterior, new front door and front facade with copper brow, new kitchen with new appliances, granite countertops, new carpet downstairs, updated lighting and plumbing fixtures, new bathrooms featuring frameless shower and floor to ceiling tiling, and much more! Why the Owner Chose Greensboro
Reynolds Plantation provides the peace and serenity for family bonding that we wanted in a lake home environment. Our lot is a very private lot with its own dock that allows for fishing and swimming off the dock. However, Reynolds Plantation also provides a lot of infrastructure when you are ready to do something fun, including, boating, swimming pools, 7 of the best golf courses in the south, miniature golf, movie theatre, sporting clays, many bars and restaurants available by boat or land, not to mention the Ritz Carlton. In short, we felt like Reynolds Plantation and Lake Oconee provided something for everyone to enjoy their family vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this House
More specifically in regards to our home- we love the location- it is near everything but is located in a quiet cove off the more travelled areas of the lake. We also love the lot- it is over an acre which allows our children to explore and have lots of room to play. The floorplan is another added benefit to the house, it is great for entertaining because the main area is spacious and open with the master on the main, vaulted great room, open kitchen which all doors open to a large partially covered deck that overlooks the tall pines, dock and water. We decided to completely renovate the house in 2006/07 which has given it a fresh, updated, sophisticated lake home feel with all the modern upgrades which has made us love it even more!

My family and I visited all the nearby lakes when we were searching for a lake home and fell in love with Lake Oconee and Reynolds Plantation. We wanted a place that had something for everyone so that all of our family could enjoy it and Reynolds exceeded our expectations! They have golf of course, the lake water is a great temperature for swimming and water activities, the lake traffic is minimal, they have The Ritz Carlton fully equiped with a spa and great dining, they have all sorts of outdoor activities and nearby shopping for convenience as well as quaint nearby communties. It really is the total package! We lived in our lake home for almost a year while our home in Atlanta was renovated and really got to know the community. It truly is the most relaxing place for us and so close to Atlanta!

We live in Raleigh NC but have family that live in Athens and Atlanta so we wanted to spend a week with our families and decided to rent this lake house and have our families come enjoy the lake with us. This house is gorgeous and it accommodated our large family very well. The basement was great as all the teenagers gathered there in their own space and the adults enjoyed the upstairs and sitting out by the deck enjoying the view of the lake. The upstairs is beautiful and the master bedroom and bath are gorgeous! Our family boated to play golf and go to restuarants....it was a great experience. It was also nice to enjoy the Spa at the Ritz! This house won't disappoint! We are looking forward to coming back again.

We spent Christmas and New Years at this beautiful house and had a great time. Plenty of room and a great view of the Lake. All the amenities one could want. We even got to play golf twice during the week when the weather warmed up. Great golf courses. The owners were very helpful and even set us up with tee times. I highly recommend this house for a wonderful vacation.

I have stayed at this house over five times on visits to Reynolds Plantation. Lots of space, lake access for boating or just to get over to one of the golf courses. If you are looking for a great getaway with friends or with your family, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this to anyone that is visiting Reynolds plantation. House has had numerous upgrades in the last year including Hardwood floors, new beds, beautiful kitchen and outdoor patio area. All the golf courses in the area are fantastic.

I almost hate to write this review, because this house is a steal compared to many other houses on the lake. We live in Atlanta, and stayed in this house with another family. We each have 3 kids so we had a total of six kids, four adults, and a babysitter. The house is really nice, and comfortably slept all of us. The house appears to have been recently remodeled. It has a wonderful huge kitchen. A big family room. A huge porch where you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake, and a huge kids play area in the basement. We had room to put our babysitter and all six kids in the basement, and then have the adults upstairs a very nice feature when you have elementary age kids like we have. Also the house is baby proofed i.e. there aren’t big splits that would allow a toddler to fall off the deck etc. (this is a problem at some other houses, be careful). The lake is really nice. This house has a small beach area for the kids to play on. The house is not far from the Ritz or from a really fun rock where we took the kids and let them jump off. Scary but fun! We went over to the Ritz and enjoyed a nice dinner, etc. Great house at a very fair price. Enjoy.

What an awesome house...it literally could not be more comfortable for a weekend getaway. Mark and Stacey were very easy to work with and we had a blast! It was the perfect place for our family to spend Memorial Day!! We will be back!

My family has spent 2 long holiday weekends at the home. It was great. Playroom on the lower level for the kids and screened in porch for the adults to relax. Beautiful views with plenty of amenities at the club. I can highly recommend the place for a short or extended stay.

My kids and I stayed at MilliLago recently and had an absolutely wonderful time - the house is impeccable in both furnishings and ammenities - it has everything you could need and more! The house's interior was impeccably decorated, including the fabulouse kitchen which has been outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances, beautiful cabinetry and countertops.The setting is just beautiful, with gorgeous views of the lake, a wonderful porch to take it all in, and plenty of space for both adults and children to enjoy their stay. We had a delicious lunch at Reynolds Plantation, and the kids had a great time swimming in both the indoor full-size pool and the great outdoor pool with a fantastic winding tunnel water slide. The Nature Center was very enjoyable and educational too. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to stay there again soon - I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to stay at Reynolds Plantation to choose MillLago!
