Bay to Breakers house description
Breaker 1 is a newly constructed six bedroom, six and a half bath house in the beach side community of Bay to Breakers located at mile marker 2. The Gulf of Mexico and its sandy white beach is just about 800 feet down the lane. The subdivision offers an outdoor pool a few house lots away. We also have a pier on Mobile Bay which is just across Ft. Morgan Rd.
This house is perfect for families, golf groups, and small beach weddings. We now have WiFi for your use while visiting here. We accept Sat- Sat reservations typically from the end of March to the middle of August.
Shorter stays may be accepted if space is available.
The house is approximately 2900 square feet featuring plenty of space in the common areas and a large kitchen with granite counter tops, kitchen sink and prep sink. We also have charcoal grills for your use. Plenty of parking available.
Each bedroom has its own private bath with a half bath just off the grand room.
Two bedrooms offer a king-size bed, three bedrooms offer two double beds each, and one bedroom offers a full bed plus a single twin bed.

So Much Fun Even in Winter!
My family and friends rented Breaker 1 for a few days just after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. The weather was fantastic and we all had a great time. The house was roomy enough to feel we all had enough space for individual families as well as when we all gathered around the table the big family had lots of fun. The beach is fantastic, and of course we made a few shopping trips. We put our husbands to the test and they found every utensil needed to make us all a special dinner. I would recommend this house to any family or group of families looking for a comfortable place to stay.

We have had horrible service through this house. You do not go through the owner you go through a realty company Brett/Robenson. We had standing water and waded in water just to get into the house, had to clean cobwebs inside the house, had to drive to the pool or the ocean due to the standing water over the road (that smelled of sewer) I have been trying to get into contact with the owners and also the owner of Brett/Robenson and I am getting no where but put into circles! The house itself through all the things we had to clean and wade through was not a bad house. But I think the real owners of the house and the owners to the real estate company needs to be aware of the situation and how bad our visit really was. Thank goodness that I had 3 houses for my wedding because if I had to wade through this sewer smelling water with my wedding dress they would have a lot more to deal with!! This was just a total living nightmare!!!

Owner response: Hello, this is the owner responding. We talked at length during your stay at Breaker House so I am surprised by these comments. As you are aware, prior to your arrival the area had been hit with excessive bad weather for a period of four days causing a standing water situation within the entire Bay to Breaker community. The area under the house itself was dry. Notice of any issues was reported 4 days after your check-in and we reacted quickly once your concerns were reported to the front desk at Brett Robinson. We use this local rental agency to assist with collecting the money, check in and check out and 24 hour maintenance availability. The leak at the window was due to the heavy rains on the first night of your stay and as you stated during our conversation, the issue cleared up on its own. For some reason, the refrigerator was set at a high temperature and once the setting was adjusted by turning the knob inside the appliance, all was well. The real issue seems to be the standing water in the streets of the subdivision. Clearing the standing water in the street is an association issue and they were working to solve the problem. After viewing the flooded street, a refund was agreed upon. I understand that a wedding day needs to be perfect and your expectations were not met. However, I believe the amount refunded was very fair. The issues experienced were not with the house but with the excessive amount of rain and the subdivision’s efforts to clear the streets. The road is not under our direct control but we put forth every effort to rectify the situation. A refund was requested and a refund was issued for an amount higher than your request. I work very hard to keep Breaker House comfortable for our guests; many of them repeat. I feel we reacted quickly and treated you very fairly.
