Casa Edwards is a tastefully decorated, new, two-story casita with two sunny bedrooms up, and a high-ceiling living room and spacious eat-in kitchen down that opens onto a stunning grass and bougainvillea-laden patio and courtyard. Parking is secure, and the guests enjoy a state-of-the-art water purifier and softener, a private telephone line, wireless internet capability, and satellite TV. Upon request, free phone calls can be made to the US or Canada from the main house. Every room boasts a ceiling fan and high, light-flooded windows.
The patio includes several cozy seating areas as well as two "zero gravity" lounge chairs for relaxing, reading, and sunning. A large patio upstairs off the master bedroom offers a gorgeous view of San Miguel sunsets as you sip your evening cocktails.
For your convenience and safety, there is an elegant, private, lighted entrance from the gated common area. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and seating area, the other has twins, both with large closets. In cool weather, guests stay warm with beautiful gas fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom, and a gas heater in the smaller bedroom. Portable propane gas heaters are available upon request if needed in the patio areas. All mattresses, linens, and sofa are US - made and very soft and comfortable.
The kitchen is completely stocked with dishes, spices, staples, dinnerware, glasses, pots and pans, cooking utensils, blender, microwave, coffee pot, cleaning supplies, etc. Upon request, we can provide additional foodstuffs, such as butter, eggs, milk, coffee, cereal, bacon, etc. You would be charged only the cost of the items, plus a small stocking fee of $10 (US dollars).
A scenic, 20-minute walk takes you to the center of San Miguel, with buses and taxis passing by every few minutes if you would prefer. On the way, you will pass by dozens of restaurants and grocery stores. You will never grow bored - or hungry, during your stay at Casita Edwards!
