My husband and I needed to find a place in Minneapolis to stay due to a family meeting. This property is only minutes away from his deceased parent's home. We knew from the momemt we opened the door that this home has been lovingly cared for and updated just enough to leave the over all charm of this bungalow. (I loved the smell of the hard wood floors.) Even though it was cold outside we managed to get in and out of MN without snow, which is a miracle at that time of year. I loved the front porch and my dogs loved the back yard :) Everything that I saw on the internet was right on. I only needed to send one email about the clothes dryer and was sent the secret instruction immediately. ** Hint: tape a penny inside dryer door.** We REALLY loved the bedroom. My husband and I both thought it was the most comfortable bed we've slept on. And the TV in the bedroom had better reception than the one in the living room. With my husband having three siblings still around Minneapolis, we will definitely try to stay there again. And he really had a great time with the piano. He plays very well as well as rebuilding them and tuning them. And a very special thanks for being dog friendly. Our children are grown and we only have four legged children now. I would recommend this property to anyone for any reason.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The cabin is cosy and charming. In addition to the other amenities, Wi-fi access and use of the washer and dryer are a bonus especially for extended stays. The front porch provides a welcome respite from full exposure to seasonal elements. The back yard is sizeable if you intend on staying with children and/or pets. Highways and retail outlets are within easy driving access and the location is sited within a pleasant neighbourhood. As an international traveller, I found it a pleasure communicating with Mike prior to and during my stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our family of 7 stayed here for one week and it is actually more roomy than it appears. The house is clean and charming, both inside & outside. It is also very well stocked. Our visit was during an unusually hot & humid week, but the backyard + a water sprinkler = happy children! There are 2 playgrounds within walking distance of the house and an endless amount of activities within a short drive! I felt safe in the neighborhood when I went running in the mornings and the neighbors were friendly. The owner of this home is very accommodating and returned phone calls/emails promptly. This home is very cozy & is tastefully decorated and we felt comfortable and "at home" from the moment we got there. The ONLY downside for us is that the shower (with it's sloped ceiling) is definitely not made for a 6' 6" man like my husband :) We would highly recommend this home for your stay in the Minneapolis area!Did you find this review helpful? stayed from tuesday to thursday. very nice, quiet neighborhood. have a small dog -- he enjoyed the backyard. nice to get up in the morning and take a walk -- lots of trees along the street -- no sidewalks but street is wide and pleasant. you are only a couple blocks from crystal lake. maybe half a mile from grocery store and papa murphy's pizza -- nice kitchen to cook in with lots of utensils etc. we had several thunderstorms and rain when we were there -- so nice to sit in the screened in porch or at the dining room table. did a lot of reading -- a lot of sitting and catching up with a friend i had not seen in several years. lots of quiet privacy -- would be a nice place to take a retreat alone. look into the historic segway tour -- that was lots and lots of fun. the house was centrally located so very easy to get to lake calhoun for more walking or biking -- mall of america or southtown mall -- downtown for the segway tours. wonderful long weekend.Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time in this clean, well kept older home. It has a perfect location for groceries, liquor stores and the downtown Robbinsdale area which boasts fine dining and a great meat market. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and our hosts were helpful and accomodating. All in all, we would recommend this rental to anyone, especially those traveling with pets as there is a beautiful fenced back yard. The home has a great history as well and has a nice comfy feel to it. When we come back to the area we'll definitely try and book here again!Did you find this review helpful? This bungalow is a gem!! Absolutely charmingly furnished...and very well equipped. We needed nothing. There was a good sized washer and dryer and every convenience we needed including wifi, a large flat screen TV, fully equiped kitchen, dishware, great linens and bedding. We spent a couple of weeks at the house while purchasing our new home to relocate to in Minneapolis. The location was close to everything...we were 15 minutes from most major attractions and downtown. I also want to mention that the the owners are pet friendly so we could have our dogs. My pups enjoyed a large grassy fenced in back yard. Overall, this house has great mojo!!...we loved it and highly recommend a stay there.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 9/11
