Tucked into a quiet wooded neighborhood only 3 miles from Breckenridge, Colorado, this large, three-plus bedroom house is less than one mile from the national forest Pennsylvania Gulch trailhead with great hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. If fishing is your thing you will have private fishing rights on the Blue River. Wildlife is a regular feature with bear, moose, beaver, and fox calling the area home. Our private hot tub lets you relax after a hard day of playing and enjoy the spectacular night sky away from the bright lights of town.
Of course, there is the the town of Breckenridge with great skiing, live music, shopping, restaurants, art galleries, spas, and more. Also in Breckenridge is a year-round ice skating rink, recreation center, and Jack Nicholas-design golf course.
This house was extensively remodeled in 2001 and has two decks, living room with wood stove, and a recreation room with games, puzzles, books, Foosball and a Ping-Pong table. With more than 2400 square feet there is plenty of room to spread out. Three bedrooms plus an "office" provide beds for eight people and two queen-size futons add four more. This is a great place for kids with a creek a short walk away and a swingset in the yard.
