This tranquil setting is located in Eden Roc Estates, Mountain View, between Volcano National Park and Hilo, approximately 15 miles in each direction.
Mountain View's elevation is 2000 feet. The temperature at nights are comfortably cool, but it warms up during the daytime, varying from 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. We suggest that you bring a few items of warm clothing. At sea level the temperature is usually in the 80s throughout the year.
There are beautiful lava rock/sand beaches in Hilo, only 20 minutes away by car. And Volcano National Park is also only 20 minutes away! I can help you with all the places of interest, just ask. My wife and I live downstairs. So while your here just have fun and respect the place.

The water supply is a 5000-gallon catchment tank, collected from rainwater (not city water) and filtered for drinking and cooking through a superior water filtering system tap (Multi-Pure).
