We enjoyed Linda's place at the terraces. It was a pretty easy 10 min walk to the mountain each morning, downhill coming home. And having the locker at the base eliminated all the hassle of carrying skis/boots/poles for us and the kids very far. That was extremely handy. We weren't sure how it would work without a car, but the shuttle service was really excellent. They always were easy to reach, had a few shuttles around town, we never waited more than 7 mins. Grocery store, restaurant, shopping downtown. All easy. The place was great. The bunk beds worked great for the kids, the kitchen allowed us to have several meals home and not have to eat out all the time. 5 mins walk to a little market for things we needed in the fridge, after one big run to City Market to stock up the first day. And of course, the skiing. We did ski school for the kids - they loved it. One of the better organized schools we've used (compared to Telluride, Breck and Winter Park). Spring - sunny and warm, crusty in the morning, slushy in the afternoon, but few lines, not crowded except at the bottom end of the day. Next year maybe we'll get powder, but this was great too! FYI - favorite restaurants. Rex at the Hilton (a surprise), Fiesta Jalisco mexican (traditional), and Beaujoes Pizza (great thin crust, busy).

This was a great place to stay. It was comfortable and close to everything needed. The condo transportation was wonderful and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes to go anywhere. It was a special bonus having access to the on site lockers, avoiding the need to carry equipment back and forth. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.
Owner response:I agree. All our guests love the indoor locker on the mountain across from the gondola. It is so helpful for families with small children. Not having to go home in your ski boots is great!! I hope you will stay with us again. Linda

Thank you Michael and Linda for such a fantastic winter vacation! The condo at the Terraces are centrally located to everything that we needed. The condo was perfect for our family of four. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy to fix meals throughout our entire stay. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds, and having their own tv in their room. The condo was quite cozy, and we never got a bit chilled. The shuttle pickup was top-notch. We never waited over 5 minutes for any shuttle the entire week. We walked one time to Gondola Square, but the shuttle was constantly running that it was easier to hop on and take the loop to the Square. Steamboat Springs was beyond our expectations of a family vacation! After researching ski areas that were "Family Friendly," we chose Steamboat. We were not surprised at all why they are consistently voted #1 family friendly ski town. Everyone we met were proud of Steamboat, and couldn't have been any kinder. The mountain itself was breathtaking! We got to see a lot of snowfall during our stay. There were so many slopes to ski on that we never felt overcrowded. We also took a horseback riding trip with Del 3 Triangle Ranch. We had the opportunity to meet Ray Heid, former Olympian. His orally History of Steamboat was intriguing. He is truly an ambassador for Steamboat. We loved Steamboat so much that we would enjoy visiting during the summer months. There is no doubt that Michael and Linda's condo at the Terraces will be the first place to look for our next visit. Top-Notch place with constant contact with Linda. Perfect vacation with a ton of memories to hold on to. Thanks, Michael and Linda!

Linda, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week. Your condo is certainly very nice, and is extremely well located. We walked to the slopes every day, and of course the locker was a very nice added benefit. We kept our skis up at Christy, which they store for you free of charge, and then all our boots etc in your locker below. I think we should have added another day to our stay, would have been nice to have one more day there to spend more time in town, or doing other activities. We skied 3 straight days as it was. Will definitely return. Thanks agian.

Our family of four arrived to the Terraces at Eagle Ridge with homemade cookies and a decorated Christmas tree and mantle waiting for us. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our Christmas ski trip. Highlights include: a well-maintained, comfortable property that was well-stocked; discounted ski lift passes and ski equipment; ten minute walk to Gondola square; use of the relaxing hottub and pool; free shuttle service throughout the town; and most importantly to skiers, the invaluable ski locker located near the gondola. Last, and perhaps most important, was the conscientious and attentive care provided by the owners, Linda and Michael. Their knowledge of the mountain, the town and restaurants proved so helpful to this family of Easteners. We would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting Steamboat. We hope to return someday, and would definitely rent the Terraces at Eagle Ridge again.

My husband and I spent a long weekend with our grandchildren in Steamboat Springs. This condo was nearly perfect. Walking distance to the Gondola and base activities. Close to Rte 40 with access to restaurants and shopping in town. The pool was great for the kids and close to the unit. The condo itself was cozy, beautifully clean, well furnished with great sunlight from the balcony. Thick towels in the bath and a kitchen stocked with essentials like coffee filters and spices. Definitely on our A list.

I wanted to specially thank you and compliment you on your condo. I stayed in three different residences on the trip to Co, and, let me just say that the others made me appreciate all the more the detail you put into your place for yourselves and your guests. The thoughtful decoration, comfortable couches, versatile set up (various places for kids and adults to comfortably watch tv, play cards, etc), nice beds and linens, lux towels; it was clean and accessorized like a model home. But it had just enough family and personal touches to allow me to pretend I was at my nice family vacation home. And nothing misleading about the condo, its amenities, or location. Nice pool and hot tub area too by a relaxing creek. I also appreciate the consistent prompt communication and recommendations for places to go and things to do. Top notch all the way, thank you so much. Guestbook was great idea too. for future renters: you can check out other travelers' discoveries! Thanks, Lisa. ps: kids were giddy over the bunk bed, but luckily the bottom was a large bed they could share since they got cold feet on actually sleeping up there!

This condo was an excellent choice for our family of four! It is beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable and quiet...we never did hear noise coming from any other units. The property is well maintained and very secure. We used the pool/hot tub every day, it's a gorgeous setting. The location is great, just a short walk to the base of the mountain. Linda, the owner, was very helpful. She provided all kinds of information on things to do in Steamboat. And was very quick to respond when I had questions for her. I would definitely recommend this unit! Overall, it was a wonderful experience for our family!

I stayed here with my family of four (sons age 4 and 2) over the fourth of July weekend. The condo had everything we needed - washer/dryer, stocked kitchen, 2 tvs and - bunk beds for the kids. We were a few minutes walk or ride along the nearby walking path to the gondola area, and just a quick drive (or ride if you're an energetic 4 year old) into town. The owners responded very quickly to all of my questions before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was in a great location and beautiful setting. Very close to the mountain, and just up the road from all the stores and restaurants you would need. Linda did a great job of describing both of her places before we chose. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing keeping me from rating this excellent was the condo's proximity to the road. In the winter I can't see this as an issue, but in the summer, with windows open and during the Mustang weekend, the traffic was a bit loud. For our visit next summer I would opt for the condo closer to the pool. I would highly recommend renting either of their places in the Terraces at Eagle Ridge. Thanks!

Linda was great and very communicative regarding our reservation. We used the free shuttle a lot, to get to the mountain etc. No need to pay twice the price to stay in a ski in condo. Shuttle staff very nice and helpful, and prompt. It comes every 8 minutes, which was great since our party was never ready all at the same time. You can also walk to the gondola. We usually took the shuttle when we were going skiing but walked if we weren't in our ski boots. Ski locker at base also nice!

Hi Linda and Mike, I just wanted to touch base with you to let you know that EVERYTHING was perfect on our vacation and much of that was due to your wonderful condo and your service. Thank you for all you did to make our first trip there so special. Your condo was the perfect size, had the best location and was very comfortable. The hot tub/pool was great after a long tough day skiing and the shuttle service was such a treat. Everyone we met in town and on the mountain were so nice and very appreciative of our patronage. We loved the lay back feel and attitude of the town and people. Who needs the “glitz” and attitude of other resorts? Not us. We enjoyed all kinds of weather from blue, sunny skies to waking up to 8” of fresh snow and white out skiing conditions. Our kids had such a great time and they were able to ski the entire mountain. They were so bummed, as were we, when the vacation came to a close. Thank you again for all your help and guidance with our vacation. We have such great pictures and memories. We are hoping to return next year! Sincerely, Cathy, Karl, Tyler and Parker

Linda's condo was a perfect fit for our family of four (2 adults, 2 young boys). The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies. The washer and dryer was handy. Our boys loved the bunkbeds. The condo really is only 5 minutes from the mountain and even closer to restaurants and a small market. We loved the ski locker -- leaving our ski boots behind was so nice! We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this condo for our first ski vacation out west in January of 2011. The condo is a short 5 minute walk to ski time square. The owners also have a ski locker in the square for guests to use so you don't have to haul your ski equipment back and forth each day!! The condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The shuttle service is great for skiers and non-skiers to get around Steamboat. The owner was great to work with and addressed any concerns that we had. Next time we come to Steamboat for vacation we will look to stay here again!

Wow! This place is wonderful! We love Steamboat and we love this condo. Our family of 5 stayed there (boys: 11, 14, 15 years old) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the gas fireplace really warmed the entire condo. We took our computer so as to have access to the internet. A TV in both bedrooms and one in the den was great! Having the washer and dryer in the condo enabled us to pack very lightly knowing we could wash and dry right there. The hot tub and warm pool were also enjoyed by us daily after skiing, but we never saw anyone else there! Also, the condo is so close to the slopes that we walked there every day rather than taking the shuttle. With careful placement, we were able to keep all 5 sets of skis and boots and poles in the ski locker at the gondola base--although we did have to be careful when we opened it! What a wonderful treat not having to lug the ski gear down to the slopes everyday. The free shuttle service for that complex is wonderful for getting around town. We used it to go to the grocery store, out to eat downtown, to the hot springs... anywhere we wanted they would take us. They always arrived within 5-10 minutes of calling, and the drivers were very friendly and informative when asked questions. The owners are extremely helpful. They answered any and all questions and gave great suggestions about places to eat. They were always just a phone call away. Thanks to them, we got 10% off our lift tickets and had them at the condo on the day we arrived. We also got 30% off our ski rental due to having the ski locker downstairs. There are great places to hang out after skiing at the base, and plenty of places to eat with great variety. We loved picking up pizza from Geano's and taking it back to the condo when we were exhausted. Overall, this is a wonderful mountain for skiing and a wonderful place to stay while skiing in Steamboat. We were sad to go and look forward to returning to this condo in Steamboat again! Thanks for everything, Linda!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Steamboat. We chose this condo because it was so convenient to the lifts and also has a shuttle bus into town if needed. We traveled with three college aged boys and the condo was just perfect! Everything was in great condition and felt new and clean, and safe. The boys had their space and we had ours - it worked out so well and also had plenty of room for family time together. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil/cookware we needed for our breakfast and dinners and the decor is wonderful! We enjoyed using the gas fireplace and the hot tub every evening. The locker at the base and the in-unit washer/dryer was such a nice added bonus. The owners of the condo are so easy to communicate with and are extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again for our next Steamboat trip. We had an absolutely wonderful stay!!!!

This property was perfect for our family of 4. A short 5 minute walk and we were aboard the Gondola. Linda could not have been more accomodating. Checked in with us periodically to make certain everything was in working order or to see if we had any issues. We had none. The Terraces feel exclusive due to its smaller number of units - never having to share the community hot tub/pool with multiple people made for a serene soak. Our teen daughters loved the bunk-beds! Linda had several age appropriate DVD's in the entertainment center and we enjoyed watching the movies next to the comfy fireplace after a long day on the slopes. The unit is exactly as described only better due to its pristine location and the attentiveness of the owners. Underground parking was a bonus. However, the biggest bonus of all was the slope side storage locker than comes with the rental. For those that ski with children, this ammenity is priceless. Easily held 4 sets of skis, poles, and the girls' boots. Not having to lug the equipment back/forth each day or wait in line for a rental locker was a huge bonus. The kitchen was well stocked making eating in an enjoyment. The washer/dryer in the unit is an addition that should not go unnoticed. We did not use the private shuttle to the slopes that is available - found it just as easy to walk although nice to know the shuttle was there if we wanted it. We fully intend to lease this unit the next time we ski in Steamboat. Susan K.

Nice Place - Comfortable for our family of 5. Convenient heated parking. Kids loved the pool and hottub! Easy walk to Gondola without carrying any ski gear because of the handy locker right at the gondola base! Locker was also great after skiing - we could kick off the ski boots and hangout comfortably in the Spring Apres Ski atmosphere of the gondola base! Helpful owners as well!

My wife and I took our daughter on her first ski trip in February. The condominium was very convienent to the ski school. We walked over every morning to drop off my daughter and then headed to the ski locker to get our gear. The shuttle service exceeded my expectations with very little wait time and took us wherever we needed to go. The owners were a delight to work with and did everything they could to be accomodating. Our family took our vacation this year to Steamboat since our oldest son’s baseball team played in a Tournament in June. We had never been to Colorado in the summer nor had I ever been to Steamboat. Wow, who knew summers could be so fun in Colorado or that I would fall in love with Steamboat. It is by far, the most charismatic little town I have ever experienced. The people are so friendly. What a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and breathe some fresh air. In Mike and Linda’s condo you can enjoy some down time with all the conveniences of home. We spent the first few days in another condo with the baseball team and let me just say there are numerous condos you can chose from but take it from someone who knows, the accommodations really do make all the difference in your precious vacation time. There is plenty to do within walking distance or relax and enjoy the beautiful pool area while listening to the river running in the back ground. Take a gondola up the mountain and ride bikes down, go fishing or walk up the mountain for dinner at the local restaurants or fresh coffee and homemade muffins in the morning from the coffee bar. My husband and I especially enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the spacious patio at the condo. We can’t wait to go back to Steamboat and do all the things we ran out of time to do on this vacation. There will be no question as to where we will stay. Thank you Mike and Linda for leasing your beautifully decorated condo for others to enjoy like us!!!Brad and Jill Masters

Not having to pack the small stuff like linens, shampoo, conditioner, etc was a nice treat and very thoughtful on your part. You have a lovely vacation home and we appreciated the chance to share it. 2007 made the 5th annual trip to Steamboat Springs for us, and this is one of the best places I have stayed! The condo was beautiful and extremely comfortable, not to mention a great rental price. It's located walking distance from the Gondola, but far enough to be away from all of the hustle and bustle of the ski square. The building has a private shuttle they share with just a few other buildings, so if you get tired from a long day on the mountain you don't have to walk, but it's definitely close enough to not have to catch the shuttle. Linda was excellent to rent from. She got keys out to me as soon as she could and she called to check and make sure we got in ok. OVERALL...excellent accommodations! I will most certainly stay here if we make the trip next year!!

It is such a nice walk to the village in the evenings for dinner. We tried both the Tugboat Grill (at Linda's recommendation) and The Butcher. Both were great and both places we were able to sit outside and enjoy the Steamboat Springs air. We highly recommend a stay at this condo.
