This is a direct oceanfront 1 bedroom condo, NO leaning over the railing or walking to the lanai to see the ocean, when you open the door, there it is, stunning view from the north end of Molokai to Lanai. ALL PHOTOS ARE TAKEN FROM THE CONDO WHERE YOU STAY!
Our condo is in west Maui on the north end of Kaanapali Resort. Very well located in an area where lots of people exercise, bike and walk in the mornings. A wonderful outdoor farmers market, health food store and coffee shop are a two minute walk away and all are across from a lovely oceanfront park. Whalers Village and Kaanapali Resort are a five minute drive and Lahaina town is 10 minutes (you can park right in front of our condo, no charge). It’s a very small close knit community here on west Maui. Wonderful location where you can forget the hustle and bustle of the Resort scene if you wish while still being only a few minutes away.
A nice low rise building of only 42 units, Kulakane is very quiet and intimate with the sparkling blue tiled pool on the ocean side of the Resort (not all are) making sunbathing and whale watching (in season) to the soothing sounds of the ocean favorite “activities”. Of course you can enjoy everything from your condo or lanai; while making (Kona) coffee first thing in the morning with fresh fruit from the farmers market or watching TV which is difficult with these views. Even though you have mesmerizing views, being on the 2nd floor, your lanai and condo are private, no one can see in.
Sunset is announced every evening by the blowing of the conch shells, (two in your unit to participate with) and if you are fortunate enough to be here Friday night don’t miss the no host “pupu” event. Make your favorite, pick up something at the store or just cut up fresh fruit and mingle with your new friends. Share your favorite adventures and learn of some new ones. Maui has too many activities to be enjoyed on just one trip, so we are sure that you will make this spot one to be enjoyed on an annual basis.
With a complete kitchen, ample towels and beach towels, tv with dvd/cd player in the living area and bedroom, wireless internet, beach chairs and rolling cooler, you will truly be comfortable in our “home away from home”. BBQ’s and laundry facilities are also on site. |
