The location is great and the photos were exactly what we got. The Villa was clean and neat and we were very happy with all the kitchenware. The owner was helpful and communication was great. I would diffently recommend this property...... we would like to rent it again ourselves next year. We brought our own bikes and did a lot of bike riding.... and .next year we will play some golf. It is just a relaxing place and can't wait to rent it again.

end of summer getaway

The condo was perfect... had all that we needed. Having the bikes, the chairs, the TVs, lovely screened porch, etc. was really great. Roseanne was delightful to work with in planning our stay. However, the resort left much to be desired. The amenities package was not worth the price paid at all. Our umbrella and chairs were set up late, but they were rigid in taking them up at 4:00. This is entirely too early for the beach in the summer. The next time, we will not pay for the amenities, but choose another company that respects the money spent and honors that by providing for the full time. I don't know how they get away with such short hours on the umbrellas and chairs... truly a bad experience. The restroom facility at the cabana was pretty gross. Also, the people at the registrartion area (where we had to pay for the umbrella and chairs) were rude and not friendly. I do wish we had been forewarned to buy groceries before coming onto the island. The Piggly Wiggly had a pretty poor selection and pretty dismal fresh fruit and vegetables. Again, the condo was perfect!

We had a great time in Edisto. It was very relaxing and just what our family needed to end the summer. The villa was great. For the price, it was very reasonable. It was very clean and well maintained. We found all the items listed in the villa plus many more. It was nice knowing there were things already at the villa that we could use and did not have to bring our own. It was also nice not having to bring our beach chairs or bicycles. We definietly look forward to renting the villa in the future.

Roseann, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your breautiful home. It was so nice and very comfortable. There was nothing that we needed that you did not have. It was such a relaxing vacation. We usually go to beaches with alot more activities for the kids but they loved EDISTO. They are already talking about wanting to go back next year. I would recommend your home to anyone if they are interested in a beautiful home and a relaxing atmosphere.

Summer Vacation with Family and Friends

This is a very nice condo with plenty of room and outstanding amenities. Everything was in great condition, tastefully done, and delivered as promised. Many nice extras that enhanced our visit such as excellent broadband access, filtered drinking water and ice The listing photos accurately depict the property (in fact it may be nicer than the photographs show) and the owners were very helpful in answering our questions and providing information. We enjoyed Edisto Island and Edisto Beach was outstanding. Parking for the beach was convenient and the conditions were great the entire week we visited. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative without any hesitation and with only one caveat. Those who stay at Edisto Beach should be aware that it is relatively undeveloped and not in close proximity to any large grocery or discount stores or pharmacies. It is probably a minimum of a 40 minute drive to reach any of these types of facilities which is both a positive and a negative depending upon your wants and needs. Also, trips into Charleston and the surrounding areas will probably take longer than one might expect so planning ahead for those excursions is a good idea. The restaurants we visited would fine (some were outstanding) and the hospitality shown by virtually everyone with whom we came in contact was great. Overall, a very nice vacation, a good experience, and a terrific place to stay.

Perfect Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Roseanne's lovely home. The home was clean and the furniture was updated and well cared for. We took advantage of all the amenities - pool, putt putt and tennis courts. We didn't have enough time to play golf however. Maybe, next year!

edisto getaway

This is the second time for our family at this duplex and just as the first time, we had a wonderful vacation. I like the fact that if you want to get active you have plenty of choices yet it is also the ideal place to relax. The beaches are close by, we really enjoyed botany bay, the local restaurants serve delicious fish and the putt putt was a daily source of family fun.

What a great place. We were by ourselves but there is stuff for children to do and for groups.We walked on the beach, watched the do;phins, went shelling and fished. When we got tired of that went to Charleston, Savannah, Buford. All are great to visit and within an hours drive. The house is wonderful; well kept, clean and agreat place to just kick back and enjoy. Roseann leaves enough info so that you know where to go and what to do. We are already talking about our next trip to Edisto.

We've just returned from a month of mostly sunny days in South Carolina at Edisto Beach. We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the well-appointed home of the Mazzolas which soon seemed just like home to us. Thanks for a great time to regroup and escape some of the snow here.

What a wonderful week we had. 9/22-9/29.Oh what a lucky find. The condo was perfect. Lots to do on the island. Saw dolphins everyday.Beautiful sunsets at the Point. Lots of seashells. Great food. Our favorite was Plantation Grill for dinner and the Sea Cow for breakfast. Don't miss the egrets nesting around 6 pm at the pond. Walking distance from the condo. What a neat thing to see them all coming in and nesting for the night. Plantations and Charleston about 45 to 1 hour away. Also did day trip to Beaufort. Great little town. We will definately return again. Thanks so much Roseann.

This past May was our 4th stay at the Mazzola's condo. We love it. It is a beautiful condo on a beautiful island. Edisto is the Perfect place to go to get away from everything. It's only 45 minutes away from Charleston. I will definately be renting from them again. Thanks Roseann for a wonderful vacation condo to stay at.

The Mazzola's house was a wonderful place for our family of 6 to spend our vacation. The home is very nice and well equipped with everything you need. We really felt at home. Edisto is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time with your family. The kids had so much fun at the beach, swimming and looking for shells. The only draw back was at the time of our visit the golf course was under construction but that is the only thing we were disappointed in. We really enjoyed staying here in Edisto. The history of the island is fascinating and the area is quiet and relaxing. We had a great time in Edisto and the weather was very good. Your place was very nice and we all enjoyed it. Everything was in good working order and their were no problems. Our two boys especially liked the loft. Edisto is a great place and I'm sure we will be back again in the future. We liked how you could vary the waves by going to different parts of the beach, such as the State Park for waves or at Bay Point for less waves. The golf course was a fun layout as well (I like # 6), and we fished the ponds out front. You had everything very well organized with your directions and tips - Thanks for making our vacation enjoyable!

The house was great for our needs. We had seven adults and everyone had plenty of space. The summerwind section of Fairfield is quiet and shady. The owners are great to work with and are very accessible to the renter's needs. I would definately stay here in the future. Great value compared to other properties!

This is our second year at this location and we love it! Clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. This year we bought the amenities pass for the pool, putt-putt, etc., and enjoyed having that to do also. We really liked the tram shuttle to the beach area, the personnel were VERY friendly and helpful.

We had a great visit at Edisto. We stayed for the month of April. The weather was great and there were no crowds, as we were early in the season. Your place was perfect for us. The only draw back was that the outside shower was not available. All in all it was great!!!

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay at the Ocean Ridge Resort Beach and Golf Getaway. It was nice to be able to let our young teens go to the pool and putt-putt area during the evening as well as, a safe property to cycle -anytime. Best of both worlds, beach and resort. Thanks for a wonderful, clean, safe place to stay during vacation.
