This is a smaller complex - only 30 units. The unit is on the second floor accessible by steps. The back of the unit overlooks an 18 hole public golf course, the front overlooks the pool area, which is rarely used because of such few units.
Just walk across Estero Boulevard to access the beautiful beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is hard white sand that is perfect for walking, jogging, biking or just sunbathing on. You can walk the entire length of the island right next to - or in - the warm gulf water.
Fort Myers Beach is an island roughly 7 miles long, Island Sands is about 3 1/2 miles from the Times Square downtown area. There is free local bus service to and from the downtown area.
