I liked this place and I would stay here again. However, there are a few maintenance issues that should be mentioned. Two of the four burners on the stove were non-functional and the clothes dryer did not work. There is no dish washer. The kitchen and laundry were particularly important to me when choosing the unit because I hoped to cook all of my meals and to bring with me as little clothing as possible. The unit is spacious and the view is remarkable. Everything was generally clean but the decor is dated. There were a few small tears in the sofa cushions and several non-functional electronic items in the living room, such as a stereo and computer. The dining table is plastic outdoor patio furniture that competes for space with an awkwardly-placed sofa-bed. The water pressure is not great and the solar water heater provides lukewarm showers at best. The owners have left a lot of things behind in the closets and cupboards, and it all seemed dusty and neglected. Getting rid of all this clutter would definitely create a fresher, cleaner feeling. I also suggest that the owners upgrade the bedding and bathroom linens. It wouldn't take much to create a more luxurious, desirable impression. This property is a gem, but needs a little more money invested in it.

Owner response: Thanks for the nice remarks, and we are happy to have you stay here again. The maintenance issues are being addressed. For the readers this was a last minute rental, maybe a week’s notice, before the previous month long renter checked out. So there wasn’t enough time to replace the burners on the stove top. Two off the burners did work, which the month long rental had no problem with. The dryer did need repaired, and the renter was told of this upfront, and we made sure that a brand new clothes line and clothes pin were up and ready for use. The water pressure is perfectly fine and the kitchen table is multifunctional, you can use it inside or easily slide it outside for Al fresco dining with a Caribbean Sea view. The linens are new as well as the bath towels. This vacation Villa is for vacations not for inspections for prospective buyers. The house is not for sale, which the real estate agent that wrote the above review seems to have difficulty in understanding. Speaking as a Real estate professional myself and having worked for Marriott and Whyndam, I can vouch that this 1500 sq ft 2 Br 2 Bath Vacation Villa is well worth the money and can compete with any resort on the Island.. All the best to this guest, and you are welcome to stay here again.
