Our beach house is in a prime location less than 98 steps away from almost one mile of sugar white sand at Carillon Beach. No need to tolerate the Seaside traffic or cross 30A to get to the beach when you have all of the privacy and security of Carillon with the conveniences of a vibrant gated resort community.
Carillon, located just beyond the east end of 30-A, is a gated ommunity of single-family homes located within steps to Carillon Beach, Downtown Carillon, Lake Powell and bicycle paths that will take you along the adorable beach communities of Rosemary, Seaside, and Seagrove, and several state parks. There are plenty of amenities at Carillon; including three pools (one heated, one gulf front), beach club, two tennis courts, kiddie pool, basketball court, bicycle rental and, of course, plenty of beach front to enjoy. Enjoy live music at 'Grooving on the Green' during summer, or listen to the music of the Gulf right out your front door. Carillon Beach Chair Service is provided (March 1- October 15) for your pleasure which includes two chaise lounge chairs and a large beach umbrella. Start and end your day sipping your favorite beverage on the third floor tower deck knowing sunrises and sunsets only look this way at the beach. This tropical beach home is brimming with special touches throughout; granite countertops from South Africa, Italian limestone floors and walls in the bathrooms, European satin-nickel fixtures, Australian cypress hardwood floors throughout and private porches off each bedroom and main living area.
Decorated in West Indian style, this beach house includes all the comforts of home including first-class furnishings, a TV in each bedroom and for those of you who must 'work' while on vacation, you will appreciate the recent addition of high-speed Internet/DSL service. The main living area is equipped with a home theatre system and family game area.
The master bedroom is a private island paradise tucked away on the second level. Decorated with tranquil sea foam colors and appointed with lush, luxury king-size bedding, you will feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. A private porch with comfortable chairs is the perfect place for breakfast or relaxing seclusion.
The master bath features both a stand-up shower and separate tub to melt away any stresses from work or home. His and hers sinks along with an oversized master closet offer ample storage for a week or a month in paradise.
Also located on the second floor is a second private bedroom/bath suite with a queen bed and private deck, a nautical bunk nook with two beds and a bright 'kids room' with a queen Murphy bed, porch and a TV/VCR/DVD player combo that can be hooked up to a PS2 for entertaining the kids when they are not in the pool, riding bikes, or at the beach.
The first floor guest room is a private suite with king-sized, pineapple-themed luxury bedding. You will enjoy delightful quiet mornings sipping coffee on the screened porch overlooking the beach boardwalk before heading to the beach for another sun-drenched day of emerald-colored waves that lap the shores of our sugar-white sand beaches.
For the quick grocery trip, Publix and Winn Dixie are just 1/4 mile away. For added convenience, a washer and dryer are also included.

Arriving at 11:30 PM we found that the key lock box did not work. No amount of code manipulation would allow us access to the key. I just happened to try the rear porch door lock and found the unit to be unlocked (fortunately!).. Could not lock the unit upon departure for the day. . Other comments: DS Master BR, right hand sink not useable - totally clogged. Light under microwave out. High speed internet apparently not available but able to attach to another source.... Leg brace continually falls out of puzzle table chair. NOT well maintained. We like Carillon very much but will not contract for this unit again......Owner response: I appreciate your feedback and apologize for any items that were not to your satisfaction, have investigated and corrected where needed each of the issues, guest comfort is very important to us and we want to make sure our home is well maintained, often we are not aware of minor issues (light bulbs out, slow drains, etc) that occur during a guest stay unless a guest brings to our attention and then we repair quickly.

The property was accurately represented in the listing information and more than met our expectations. It was clean and well maintained with plenty of room for our family. It is a beautiful home, close to the beach walk over and to the pool & playground area. The owner was informative and responsive to any questions or needs that we had. This is our second visit to Carillon and first stay at this property and will certainly recommend both to our friends and relatives.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Excellent home. Second time we have rented it for our family. The owner can't be beat. Proximity to everything is great! I would highly recommend this home to anybody loking for a vacation home to take their family.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house was better than we expected. The pictures do not do it justice. 4 families stayed here for one week very comfortably. The beach was very close, and very beautiful. We will be renting again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We love Once Upon a Time, this was our third visit. The decor is lovely and neutral, the beds are comfortable and the whole house is very accommodating. One of our favorite features is the large screened porch where we enjoy having having coffee in the morning and dinner and drinks in the evenings. The owner's keep it fresh with new towels, linens and furniture replacements when needed. The access to the beach is easy and quick. I'm sure we will go back many times.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us this fall. We enjoyed the accomidations and beaches very much. Our boys loved the bunk area the most. And our daughter enjoyed your "library." She is 3 and loves books! We ate most of our meals outside on the screened-in porch. And took a walk to the beach to watch the sun go to bed. We are from East Tennessee and dont have access to fresh seafood. So we love to go out and find great local places to get our fill. We have been going to Dusty's and Boondocks for several years. We absolutely love your home. This is by far the nicest home we have stayed in for a long time. Everything we need is right here. We had a great week! We came with all 3 of our children and our 4 grandchildren- we're leaving with lots of memories (including a few pre-school meltdowns)! We enjoyed the extra beach trip- in fact, we made an awesome sand castle! The little ones loved riding their bikes and scooters around!
