  This home and the area were the perfect spot for a family vacation. We enjoyed the bicycle rides to the beach and the beautiful scenery. My kids loved all of the near by beaches and the local restaurants. There really was no need for a vehicle being that the bikes were provided and everything is so close to the house. On our bike rides into the town or to the beach we passed so many beautiful trees and flowers and even Peacocks. The house was very spacious and extremely well kept. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to have a good time and get away from it all for a little while. I will definitley go back to this spot for another vacation with or without the kids. :-)

  What a great property. Very retro/modern with every home comfort required for a comfortable home from home experience. There are great facilities for dining/lunch within walking distance. You are also within walking distance to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and sugar white sands, we felt very spoilt. There is wildlife to be seen right outside the front door with Peacock wondering aimlessly going about their business, it's simply wonderful. We would definitely recommend this home and would love to visit again sometime soon and escape the cold and rain of the UK. Thank you for making our holiday wonderful.

  Our entire family enjoyed this VERY well equipped home. We tried to think of something that the house was lacking, and we came up lacking a suggestion for improvement. The staff was extremely receptive to our questions and made our trip from overseas go smoothly. The location was everything you could desire, quiet, yet close to the beaches and wonderful restaurants and shops.

  Our stay at Longbeach Cottage was so comfortable. Imagine arising from your comfortable bed in the master bedroom suite to look out through the screen lanai and into the "Garden Of Eden". This is your back yard! If you are lucky, there will be fresh fruit for breakfast in the well appointed dining room. It was wonderful to have the option of the guest wing for when our children and grandchildren arrived. We rented a crib at ABC Rental on Anna Maria Island. Many an hour was whiled away on the sugar sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico and we could launch our kayaks on the Bay beach. Fishing right on the town dock was entertaining as well as productive! We have already booked for next year! We love Longbeach Cottage.

  A wonderful little house in perfect and quiet surrounding. Very near to the wonderful beach of Longboat Key with nice shopping opportunities, restaurants and sightseeing places al around (car necessary!). I would like to emphasize on the perfect care of Michelle from "Longboat Village Vacations" that made everything very easy to organize! Very recommendable!!

  Owner response: Our first guests from outside the U.S. and we're absolutely thrilled they enjoyed their stay! Access to the Longboat Key beach is located directly across the street from the neighborhood entrance, neighborhood restaurants (Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub and Moore's Stone Crab Restaurant) are fabulous and within walking distance of this property! Although a car makes getting around extra convenient, there is a trolley that operates from Quinoa Beach on Anna Maria Island down Longboat Key and across the bridge into downtown Sarasota. Maps and stop information available upon request. We're looking forward to making your stay enjoyable too!

  Thank you for another wonderful stay. We were here for one week last year, three weeks this year, and have already reserved for two months next year! We love the village and miss the peacocks, the friendly neighbors, and the "dog romps" every afternoon at 5:30. We had a special dinner at the Beach Bistro, and liked walking to Moore's or driving to the Beach House for lunch. Our morning walks on Coquina Beach were a must–lots of sunshine & good birding. We look forward to next year!

  Very roomy with all the needed amenities. We were able to ride bikes & walk to the nearby beautiful white sandy beach and swim late into the evening. It is much like a tropical getaway! Also very close to moped, jet ski rentals, great dining and local markets. This place made our Florida vacation very special. Looking forward to returning again.

  The house was spacious as stated by Stacy. Very Comfortable home. You must eat at Cody's Roadhouse in Bradenton. Fun for kids & couples. Joe's has awesome homemade ice cream and Devil Rays aren't far for baseball game on a rainy day (indoor field). We plan on coming back again for sure.

Advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required sixty (60) days prior to arrival. Advance payment will be applied toward rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The balance of rent, cleaning fee, and taxes must be received at least thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

Fully Refundable Reservation/Damage Deposit: $500 (required to reserve your reservation)

Cleaning: $100

Taxes (State, County, & Tourist): 11.5%
