This was my second time staying here, and it felt like I was coming home again. It was so peaceful and quiet. I slept wonderfully, it was so relaxing. The unit was clean, and was stocked with everything I needed. The full sized fridge and self-clean oven worked beautifully. I loved being surrounded by nature - trees, deer, owls etc. The lovely flowers added a special touch and color. I especially liked the ten foot ornamental grass blowing in the gentle wind. Everything smelled so fresh. This is a great getaway from the citylife. The owner was warm, down to earth, and interesting to talk to, yet unobtrusive. She was available at anytime, and accommodated me readily, I didn't get in until late and left at 2pm. I felt safe and well cared for. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a well priced rental that is clean, practical and private. It is a gem hidden away, close to the airport and downtown Halifax. Groceries were nearby, including wine and beer, and a host of choices of ice cream cones at the Farmer's Market. I enjoyed my stay immensely!
