Wonderful and Beautiful Place

We arrived a little early and called to see if we could check in and they said sure. The rental is located on the second floor and you let yourself in with a security code. The house is absolutely beautiful and very clean. We were welcome with a gift basket on the counter, and the place is very well stocked with appliances, (blender, Crock pot, etc.) and coffee, spices, paper products, etc. The deck out back is very big and has a gas grill on it which we used one night, the grill was fully stocked with gas. The hot tub is very big enough for eight and is located in a separate building right off of the back deck. We loved this because you didnt have to worry about the bugs and could rise the windows and not get hot. The creek was a big hit, they loved playing in it. They also have a fire pit by the creek and they supply the wood for it, we didnt have time to use it but wanted to roast smores. There are three bedrooms with king, queen and double, that are private. Then upstairs in the loft area is queen bed with three twins. They also had a truffle bed in the closet and two port cribs. This place can easily sleep over 12. They do have a well for the water and had suggested taking baths 15 mins. apart but we never had a water problem. The owners Rhonda & Bobby are really sweet and you never know they are there. They even told us we could check out at anytime because it wasnt rented for the following week. Beautiful place and we plan on returning again next year and hopefully stay longer than we did this time.Very easy to get to and close to nearby restuarants. I highly recommend this place! When I got back from my vacation my deposit was in the mail. Thanks Rhonda and Bobby for sharing your wonderful home with us and making us feel so welcome.

Perfect Vacation

We planned a ski trip for the guys and a relaxing vacation for the rest of us, for this weekend and our group consisted of 3 familes including my 1 year old daughter. This place was perfect - had ample sleeping for all of us (and then some), the kitchen was well stocked (we didn't have to get a thing - salt, sugar, coffee, creamer, spices, cooking spray, vinegar, even a crock pot - might have used it had we been aware the place was so well stocked). There was a gift basket waiting for us and my daughter was so excited about the X'mas tree (she had been very sad when we took ours down). There were helpful hints pasted all over the home (and I must say, I loved all the pithy sayings and hangings all over the house :)) My daughter also loved the Disney books, dolls and blocks. She felt at home. The older kids loved the board games and the 'treasure chests' and the 'port holes' over their beds. They let their imagination run wild over the little red roof they could see from the window... (was it a Victorian hideout?). The rest of us loved the hot tub and the collection of movies. The rain played havoc on our ski plans so we ended up spending more time in the cottage than we expected - but no one got bored. And the owners were very accommodating - we requested a late checkout since the guys wanted to go skiing on Sunday morning. I was not keen to spend the day waiting for them in the ski area with my baby and was so glad that they let us check-out at 2 pm. Thank you so much! We would love to come back during spring / summer when we can enjoy the deck and the outside facilities better. Just a suggestion - it was dark and raining when we came in and we didnt immediately realize that the vacation home was on the 2nd floor. We ended up knocking and disturbing the 1st floor residents (the owners) to ask. If you could mention that bit of information in future, it might be helpful.

You and your families and friends are more than welcome back any time; we are sorry we couldn't be more helpful with the snow situation LOL but perhaps next time around will be a little more ski-conducive. It unfortunately has been a warm winter everywhere this year and our area is no exception but that's why we provide so many amenities for our guests.
