  We had a great time at this condo. It was in pretty good shape except for the piece of wood trim that fell off the kitchen sink just missing my daughters foot. The batteries in the electronic lock failed and we were locked out without a phone or anyway to contact the owner. It was a bit tense for a while. Luckily one of the neighbors let us use their computer and phone. I would recommend using a conventional lock. Kids loved the pool and the location to the beach is as good as you will find. The issues we had were not enough to ruin our week but we could have done without them.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

  Owner response: I'm glad you had a great time at Dunedaze and certainly apologize for the small inconveniences. We had no idea someone before you had damaged the trim but that has been repaired and is no longer an issue. Virtually all of our guests love the keyless entry but it is powered by batteries and while we do our best to keep fresh batteries in the unit sometimes they drain quicker than we anticipate. We always keep a back up key available for that possibility. Hopefully these small inconvenience will not deter you from returning to Dunedaze and we hope to see you again next year.

  Our stay at this wonderful condo was absolutely perfect! The pictures were very accurate, and the condo was well stocked. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrela and beach toys that were provided. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and all of the furniture was very comfortable. The condo was also in a perfect location. It was literally across the street from the beach and within walking distance of great restaurants. We loved not having to load up and drive to the beach. We would love to return to this area, and specifically to this condo. We'd highly recommend it to anyone!

  Forgot to mention in my other review that this place is just over a mile from Seaside. You can walk or ride bikes there for all the activities, restaurants and shopping. We rode our rented bikes there daily.

  This place was even better than promised! The pictures don't do it justice and the grounds of the property are extremely well landscaped and maintained. There were two bike shops within two blocks and a Tom Thumb just across the parking lot. The beach access was also just across the parking lot. You can also walk to three restaurants without leaving the property (there is a wooden walkway across a little pond into a small shopping plaza). It was just lovely and very family friendly. We played shuffleboard and got our money's worth out of the two pools! The kids also watched a different movie every night from the owner's library. There were actually two beach umbrellas at the condo when we were there. We made use of those and the 2 beach chairs. The condo is decorated very tastefully. There were Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Nautica linens and lovely furniture. Both the owner and the cleaning crew were so kind and helpful and many of the neighbors are retired full time residents who are so friendly. Book this place! You will be delighted.

  Jay, I just wanted to thank you for letting us stay in your condo. We had a great time! The kids loved the bunk beds. I also appreciate the restaurant recommendations. We ate at the Hurricane Oyster Bar and those grits are unbelievable. Thanks again and we hope to be able to rent from you again.

  Hi Jay and Teri, I just got back from our girls weekend at SeaGrove. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed your condo. It was very comfortable. We also found Tom Thumb to be a great convenience! The weather and water were clear and we could not have asked for a better weekend. The complex was very well kept and close to the beach walkway. We enjoyed tennis and biking. Thanks so much. We will definitely remember to contact you the next time we go down. Barb
