Make your vacation truly memorable this year with a stay at one of the most photographed cottages on Saint Simons Island. Wisteria Cottage offers 1400 square feet of beautifully decorated living space on two levels with a front porch and master suite balcony.

As you enter the property you are greeted by a huge, screened front porch -- over 200 square feet and almost two stories high -- that allows you to take in the beauty that the Coast Cottages community has to offer. On the right, the screened porch is set up for outside dining whenever the mood strikes you; on the left, a large, comfortable wicker and wood seating area from which you can enjoy cool ocean breezes.

On the main level, you will find a large, airy living and dining area under a cathedral ceiling and highlighted by an ample fireplace with antique mantel. The open floor plan has hardwood floors throughout and includes a kitchen fully equipped for a light meal or more formal entertaining. A hallway leads to the two well-appointed guest bedrooms. One bedroom offers a full bed and its own bathroom. The other bedroom is set up with twin beds. This level also includes a half bath adjacent to the living area as well as a concealed washer & dryer.

Once up the stairs to the top level, you are greeted by a spacious master retreat. To the right, a loft and sitting area -- perfect for reading or relaxing -- and overlooking the living area below. The adjacent master suite with bath is large and beautifully appointed with windows throughout, a cathedral ceiling, a built-in window seat and much more. Step out to the private balcony that overlooks the island's historic Coast Guard station and the ocean beyond.

Details throughout Wisteria Cottage -- furniture, artwork and architectural elements -- are designed to re-create the look and feel of a true Victorian beach cottage...without missing out on all of the modern conveniences.

Wisteria is part of the exclusive Coast Cottages community on Saint Simons Island, one of forty privately owned new homes built in the classic Victorian style. The community has a private pool, bathhouse and old-fashioned pavilion with a secure, gated boardwalk to the best beach on the island.
