This north end island getaway has 3 bedrooms, two baths, and an extra large screened porch leading down to a brand new pool and tropical outdoor area, with a new outdoor hot and cold shower. The master bathroom is private to the master bedroom only. It is brand new, with beadboard walls and a new shower and vanity. The whole house is splashed in bright Florida colors and the floorplan is open and airy. House has wi-fi, washer-dryer, cable television, and all the conveniences of home! Just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful north end beaches near Bean Pointe! Spacious getaway for yourselves or your whole family! Quiet residential neighborhood and a large corner lot. WEEKLY rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Stroll two blocks to the Rod 'n Reel Pier, which offers the best (and most reasonably priced!) island grouper sandwich, including its famous "grouper reuben, " piled high with french fries.

Ride bikes to Two Scooops for ice cream, and Ginny's and Jane E's for great baked goods, cappuccino, and frothy drinks!   • This was our 9th trip to AMI this year and the best so far. The home was fab Sue and my family's new favorite on the island. The pool and screen porch were two of the top amenities along with internet and close walk to beach. The highlight of the trip this time was the "Jaws" sighting on the beach. A HUGE shadow swam across toward a family and I saw him from the beach and "warned" them something was coming their way. They finally saw the dark shadow and "ran" as fast as they could toward the beach....meanwhile he kept swimming toward a boy who was snorkeling and had just stood up when the creature approached him as well. He did not see it until it popped it's head out of the water within a foot of his face. Alas, it was our own Bean Point Manatee and everyone on the beach was watching the "drama" by now. Thank goodness he was friendly. Now the litle boy has a story to tell his own kids later in life. Sue, we will be back to 305 Poinsettia. Book it.

  • This house is big and airy - lots of room and very comfortable. The front porch is gigantic and a wonderful gathering place. Bst of all is the location - within a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach, Bean Point. We also liked walking to the pier (5 minutes) for many wonderful meals or just to watch the dolphins. Wonderful.
