Our beautiful home is set over the San Elijo Lagoon and Wildlife Preserve with a full, unobstructed view of the ocean.
The property is 1/2 acre of flat useable land, with a pool and jacuzzi, which is fenced for safety, large Viking gas grill, firepit and good canyon hiking. Our pool, firepit and jacuzzi are separately gated with a lock for saftey. If you have smaller children ages 1-7, be sure to rent a safe property.
The house is 4300 square feet, open floorplan with contemporary style and art. The kitchen has subzero refrigerator, dacor gas cooktop, convection oven and microwave, a fully automatic espresso machine, granite counters, stainless artistic backsplash, and stone tile flooring. The remaining living space is all maple flooring, with contemporary pendant lighting, and views of the ocean from most rooms.
The bedrooms are all carpeted. The MBR includes a queen sleigh bed, fireplace, couch, and large flat screen TV, walk in closet, separate bath with 2 pedestal sinks, walk in two-person shower, and oversized tub. The guest BR holds a king size bed, private bath, and couch seating. 1 additional BR offers a queen bed, and 2 others offer full size beds, allowing up to 10 people in beds, + 2 more on couches or air mattresses. There are 2 additional full baths in the home as well. Each room has a television, some with DVD players, Playstations and/or XBoxes.
The family room provides large TV, stereo, Ipod docking, Directv, DVD, VCR, exercise equipment, fireplace, views of the ocean, and ample seating. There is a sunroom with a large dining table. The living room is upscale, with leather and chenile seating, a large dining table, bar and fireplace. The office provides desk, internet, and a game table, board games, an electric keyboard, and printers.
The neighborhood is safe and friendly with loads of kids. Down the hill is the world known Seaside Market, for your food shopping, and there are restaurants, a spa, and shopping. The house is only 1 mile to the best surfing in the country, where famous Rob Machado, Sean White and others surf, 2 exits north of the world famous Del Mar Race Track during race season, the Skate Park, where famous skater, Sean White and Tony Hawk, practice and it is open to the public, 15 minutes from Legoland, 20 minutes from Seaworld, 30 minutes from the San Diego Zoo, downtown and the Gaslamp, and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Disneyland and Mexico are just over an hour away. |
