Georgia Girls

My family stayed here last summer while our daughter attended Smith Stearns Tennis Academy. The deciding factor for us choosing this villa was that the owners are close by. If something tore up ... we didn't want to have to deal with an owner in Texas or ???. The pictures are accurate, and the kitchen is stocked GREAT for cooking in. The location is great for dining out, as well. We are a tennis family and we LOVED the fact that the courts were right out back. We felt safe the entire time, and the location was exactly what we were looking for. We also liked having the bikes included in our price. (That would have been extra $$$$ elsewhere.) We stayed for an entire month, and we hope to return next summer! This villa is not directly on the beach, but the beach club is a short bike ride away - also great for a quick lunch. We vacation regularly in HHI, and we will return soon!!!

Late July Family vacation

We had a fabulous week in Hilton Head and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was so convenient to Harbour Town, tennis courts, and the beach. The villa was clean, very well-maintained with lots of extras the owners provided to make our stay even better. This villa was the perfect size for our family (3 boys). The owner was extremely helpful in providing information about the villa as well as local activities, maps, and restaurants in Hilton Head. You can tell they love the location and want people to enjoy their visit. I woud highly recommend this porperty to friends or relatives! We had a fun time and want to go back!

We had a delightful week in Sea Pines. I had been here many times while the kids were growing up. This time I returned with my preschool grandson, my daughter and her husband. Sea Pines never looked more beautiful and I chose the perfect villa. It is spacious, comfortable and includes everything you could think of. It was such a treat to have beach chairs, umbrellas, rafts and sand toys, plus books and videos and an extremely well equipped kitchen. Having bikes right there including one for a 4 year old was awesome. The owners have thought of everything and live close by. If you have a question or a problem, they are right there and are extremely helpful and caring. Sea Pines is a beautiful place to bike on miles of shaded paths, take a boat or kayak nature tour, view Harbour Town from the top of the lighthouse, eat ice cream and shop at the same great shops that have been there for 20 years or more, visit the Salty Dog Cafe and South Beach Marina and dine at scenic restaurants. The big wide beach is beautiful. The pool in the villa complex is private and partly shaded and there is a cute baby alligator in the lagoon. Tennis is right out the back door and the short morning walk or bike ride to the Harbour Town Bakery is the perfect place for coffee ( with or without a sweet treat). We loved being back and look forward to renting this amazing villa again soon.

Tropical Bliss!

We were blessed to stay at this condo in May...just before the heat of summer settled in. It was fabulous! I had been to Sea Pines in the early 1990's, and while much has changed, the cozy, quaint character of the place has not. By cozy I am referring to the way the homes and condos are nestled under the large pine trees that are everywhere in the plantation....thus the name, 'Sea Pines!' It is the most unique experience...thinking you are at the beach, yet there is wonderful shade everywhere. I can't wait to come back with my mother some day. She deserves a vacation where she can be cool and relaxed to pay her back for all the years that she sat huddled under an umbrella on the beach in her clothes, in the sweltering heat, since she does not swim. Sea Pines is a great place for families of all ages because of the large selection of 'fun things to do.' It is great being so near to Harbour Town - fabulous shops, dining and a great place to hang out in the evenings listening to the live entertainment and rocking in the red rocking chairs. Another thought is Savannah. We took a day trip there since it is only 1 hour away. We spent the day on their on/off trolley and dined at Paula Deen's restaurant. Yes, it was delicious! The owners were a pleasure to work with, and are close by. We had a problem with one of our bikes, and they graciously and quickly replaced it with another bike....we never missed a beat of enjoying our vacation. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

Winter in Paradise

Guest: M&L (Boston)
Date of Stay: 01/02/11 Review Submitted: 05/13/11

My wife and I have been visiting HHI for several years, but never for such a lengthy stay. We stayed at this villa for the first time this year from Jan 2 to May 1, and it was difficult to leave to return home. The villa is a great size, has great closet space, and is furnished most comfortably. And the kitchen has everything we needed for cooking "in". The owners of the villa live nearby and are a pleasure to deal with. (Especially when you do something crazy like lock youself out.) They are only a phone call away if you have any type of question about the villa and /or the Sea Pines area. The location is perfect for leaving the car parked and just walking and bicycling. Tennis courts are just out the back door, and there are shops and at least 4 or 5 restaurants in Harbour Town less than a five minute walk away. For an enjoyable dinner, one of our favorites was to just walk out the back door and have dinner at the Harbour Town Grill which is situated in the clubhouse of the Harbour Town Golf Club, home of the Heritage Golf Tournament. Another more casual, but pleasant spot is the Crazy Crab, adjacent to the Harbour Town Lighthouse. We are both golfers and on Hilton Head Hilton there is no shortage of quality golf at decent rates. This villa was the perfect headquarters for all we planned to do while on HHI as well as a perfect resting spot when we returned each evening. We are so looking forward to returning in January for another winter in paradise.

Home away from home

Very spacious and comfortable villa. Clean and homey feeling. Doesn't have that plastic feel I get with hotels nor that grungy feeling with motels. My 3 children had a great time too. Well maintained and photos are accurate. Very centrally located with pools, tennis courts out the back door, beaches, shopping nearby, and many other amenities. Nice bicycles to sight see and avoid having to drive everywhere. Will stay there again.
