Bahama Breeze is situated atop an 18-foot bluff overlooking the ocean. It has a fully-landscaped yard and garden ideal for sunbathing with access down a dune path to a private coral edged beach with White Sound Beach just beyond. Bahama Breeze is a modern three-bedroom, three-bathroom home fully furnished and FULLY AIRCONDITIONED with all the creature comforts you are used to including FREE WIFI HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS and DIRECTV WITH FLAT SCREEN TV in a beautiful natural setting that will relax you in ways you’ve never experienced. All bedrooms and living areas are fully airconditioned with zoned A/C so that you can adjust the temterature of each room. All rooms have ceiling fans. A newly installed automatic generator will power the house and A/C if there are any power outages on the island.
The home is designed to sleep four in the main house with a queen-size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have full private baths and private sliding doors to the ocean-facing deck where breathtaking tropical sunrises will start your day off right.
Sleeping accommodations for two more people are available in the two story guesthouse, which features a queen size bed, full bath, walk in closet, air conditioning and spectacular views from the second story deck.
The large central living area includes comfortable sitting and dining areas. For sunsets, you can step out onto a second deck from the kitchen. If vacation for you also means leaving the cooking at home, delectable gourmet dining is only minutes away in Hope Town proper, or a short walk to either the Abaco Inn or Sea Spray Marina Resort.
There is a public dock a few minutes walk from the house for those who wish to rent a boat. There is a grocery store and a liquor store nearby. Boats are available for rent so that you can easily explore the many surounding islands and the village of Hope Town with its famous candy striped lighthouse. Why the Owner Chose Hopetown
We came to Hope Town on a friend's sailboat in 1985 and fell in love. We met a local builder and he showed us a piece of land on the top of a sea grape covered sand dune overlooking the ocean with a lovely tropical breeze. A short golf cart ride to town yet quiet and very private, we knew this was the place. We designed an island beach house with the comforts of home and Bahama Breeze became a reality. Our family has enjoyed Bahama Breeze and Hope Town for holidays, family reunions, and winter get aways ever since.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Bahama Breeze faces east. In the morning you can lay in bed and watch the sun rise over the ocean to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach. Bahama Breeze also has a large private yard of velvety grass surrounded by palm trees. Its a great spot to sunbath on lounge chairs or find a bit of shade on our hammock in the palms.
