Winter at Crystal Mountain: It is a Northwest jewel! With 2600 acres skiers have the variety of groomed for beginners to challenging chutes and backcountry for the adventurous. Of course the spectacular views of Mount Rainier can't be beat! Not a skier? Ride the gondola, dine at the Summit House, snow shoe, read a book. There is enjoyment for everyone.
Summer: If you think winter is fun...try summer at Crystal Mountain: wildflowers, hiking, biking, horse back rides, sunset dinners at Washington's highest restaurant via a gondola ride. It is spectacular. Or, Sunrise at Mount Rainier. Have you ever been to Haleakela for a sunrise? The sunrise at Sunrise beats it! Get up early (really early), drive 45 minutes to Sunrise, watch the sun come up and then spend the day hiking - leisurely walks, strenuous hikes - Sunrise suits all.
The home, built in 2004, includes the following: Main level-gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, breakfast bar, dining room, den with queen murphy bed, full bathroom and a beautiful river rock fireplace warms the cedar-ceiling lined living room. The log stairway leads to the upper level-entertainment room with satelite TV, surround-sound stereo and a sofa-sleeper sectional; Master bedroom with private bath including oversized tile shower; guest bedroom with queen futon and loft with queen bed.

Our family with 4 young adult children and various significant others of those children, totally enjoyed our week. The house is beautiful, clean and luxurious. Everything was just as the pictures indicated including the elk in the yard! We would highly recommend this home to any family.

We shared this house with another family who are neighbours. 5 kids total and 4 adults. House was wonderful and the layout of rooms was perfect for all of us. This is a well stocked home, not a rental property. Hot tub is good quality, big, deep, hot and perfect after skiing. We all live in Tacoma, but it was so much better than driving all the way home after a hards day skiing. Will definitely do it again. Thanks so much Laura.

My family of five (with 3 young kids,) plus mother-in-law had a wonderfull stay at this cabin. I have stayed at 6 other very nice VRBO cabins in washington and this was one of the best. 3 nice bedrooms, large loft room, hot tub, bar-b-que, outdoor firepit, indoor fireplace, and beautiful fully stocked kitchen (much nicer kitchen and tableware than any VRBO I have ever stayed at). Nice location close to crystal mountain and we went to sunrise on mount rainier - which was spectacular with wildflowers and hiking. Owner was very nice and the transactions were smooth. I would stay here again.

"Is this the right place? WOW, are you sure we are staying here???, cuase this is soooooo much nicer in every way then whats in the photo's" This was a quote from a friend of mine just after we walked into the chalet. Great location and forest solitude setting! The layout and configuration of the home is perfect for a few couples or a family or two. Just below the freezing line the week we stayed so no covered garage not an issue and only a few minutes to Crstal was awsome. Would love to stay here again!

We've rented many homes in many places over the years and many times you find that the pictures online aren't quite consistent w/ what you experience live. In this case, the online photos are great and the home itself is absolutely spectacular! This is truly a beautiful, luxurious home in a beautiful, serene setting w/ all the amenities of home and tons of room for everyone. Whether you enjoy skiing all day at Crystal, having a home-cooked meal (in a great kitchen/dining room!) w/ your family, hot tubbing under the starlit sky, or all of the above, this is truly a special place and one in which you will surely have a great experience - enjoy!!

Laura's home was truly a home away from home! It was beautifully appointed and was MUCH more than just a "rental home." My partner and I have stayed at dozens of homes on VRBO and this was absolutely in the top tier of best homes we've stayed in. It is also a perfect distance from the Mountain so you can come home after a long day of skiing, take a hot tub, start a fire, pop open a good bottle of wine and make a fab dinner in the gourmet kitchen and laugh with friends! In the morning you'll wake up the resident herd of Elk and truly feel like you are in the NW wilderness! If it's available...BOOK IT!

I have stayed here a couple times, and both were awesome! Beautiful cabin, inside and out. Close to skiing. Quiet. Great kitchen for cooking in. Super comfortable beds tucked all over the place. Lots of room for eating, dining, watching a movie in the loft with the surround sound. Saw a herd of elk one morning while in the hot tub. Everything you could ask for in a mountain get-away. Cabin is very, very clean and comfortable. Also, its pretty close to Greenwater where there is a cozy mountain pub! I'll be staying here again and again. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed at this wonderful property on a long ski weekend at Crystal Mountain. The home is extremely well appointed and is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the access to Crystal.
