This house is a great example of Old World Elegance from the living room to the outdoor patio and courtyard where one can sit and enjoy the outside wrapped in fresh ocean air.
The original owner of this home surrounded herself with artifacts and furniture collected from the travels of her Navy family. The house still is decorated with this sense of Navy history and is a rare treat.
The living room has been redone for family-friendly enjoyment. Leather couches and a bigscreen TV make it a great place to hang out. The ample dining room adjoins the modern kitchen. A sliding glass door opens the house up to mingle between the sunroom (lanai) and a large patio. The kitchen is redone in Spanish tile and updated for the modern cook with a new stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and lots of new cooking utensils.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. A third bedroom has two twin beds. A second full bathroom with tub is just down the hall. All beds have top-of-the-line new mattresses.
There is a 4th bedroom with a kingsized bed downstairs including a bathroom with a shower. This section has a den with an office and a piano. This section is great for childern or a nanny.
The grounds are incredible. 10,000 square feet of gardens. The large patio has comfortable furniture and is surrounded by walls and hedges for privacy. A fire pit makes the nights magical and quiet except for the birds and conversations with friends. A pathway takes you to the lower yard through a rose bush-lined path to a "secret" garden. This property is child-friendly, pet-friendly, family-friendly!
