The SandCastle offers the perfect getaway for a family vacation. Breathtaking sunsets and surrounded by the nature on St. George Island. Our home is sure to please everyone in your group up to 10 people comfortably. More than 10, no problem, just rent the house next door that also sleeps 10. Just a short 20 yards to the calm waters of the bay with semi-private beach area that is perfect for sunning, swimming or launching jet skis.
Enjoy the ground level living room and master bedroom with ADA Bath. Well equipped kitchen, living area with dining room along with two additional full baths, laundry room. Nice screened porch and deck are located on the ground level as well. Rinse off under the outdoor shower when you finish your swim.
Enjoy unobstructed views of the bay from the second floor deck or the family room that includes a queen sleeper sofa, fireplace, gaming tables as well as a morning kitchen with fridge.
Further Details: Along with three other bedrooms (2 queen, 1 twin) and two additional full bathrooms. Also read your favorite book on the rear upstairs deck.
Our home is centrally located on the island and is only 5 blocks from the Public Gulf Beach Access and downtown. Ride one of our bikes to the bikepath, store or your favorite restaurants just down the street.
The free public pier is just as close for fishing which is next to the new public boat ramp that's great for launching your boat at no charge.

We have been coming to St. George Island for the past 5 years and have always stayed gulf side. We loved this bayside view so much, this will definintely not be our last bayside stay. The descriptions are all accurate. We stayed with our daughters and grandbabies and everyone had plenty of space and privacy for naps. The ground level entry was a bonus with the babies. The kitchen was one of the best stocked of any rental where we have stayed. The location of the house is convenient to everything on the island. We love the fact that we can hop on a bike or golf cart and easily take in the sights and amenities of the island. The owners were more than helpful, with their quick responses. We waited late to book the week of July 4th, so their quick replies helped assure us a reservation at late notice. Our stay also coincided with Tropical Storm Debby that caused some issues for the island. The owners were great to keep us informed of the weather, the island conditions and the rental conditions, so we could make last minute decisions about our stay. We would definintely recommend this to friends and family (already have).Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

The Sandcastle was absolutely fantastic! We had a group of eight and had plenty of beds and room for everyone. The island is fantastic, and the Sandcastle makes it even more enjoyable. The house is located in a perfect location, close to the Gulf, close to the ocean, close to the bridge, and close to shopping! It was an amazing weekend, and we had a blast! I can thank the great people at the Sandcastle for making that happen. I know we will be back to St. George Island, and I know we will be renting from the Sandcastle again! An absolute 10!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Been coming to St. George for over 10 yrs. Stayed at the Sand Castle over a dozen times.Whether with two people and as many as 13, made no diference. So spacious and open a crowd is no problem and with two areas to gather in house upstairs and down makes it so nice . Convenient to bay and short trip to ocean , store, restaurants, etc. Ride my bike around house , traffic no problem or take the bike paths....The Sand Castle is just a sweet location . Really like it has a ground floor entry, going in an out several times a day and grilling out, etc. really convenient .. You will love this house and owners are on Island to assist you if needed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

High Season (May thru August) 1600.00 per week. Mid Season (March and April, September and October 1300.00 per week. Low Season (November to February) 1045.00 Week. All rates include Cleaning Fee and Linens with no reservation fees. Separate non refundable pet deposit of 100 for dogs under 25 pounds only.
