  Just spent a wonderful week at villa Sea Star, Grand Cayman. As stated by the previous guest, I have spent 30 years staying at villas around the world and this villa is spectacular. The last two trips to Grand Cayman were spent at homes on Seven Mile Beach, I thought those trips were something to talk about and now I would never stay at any other location but Old Man Bay. The privacy of this villa, the perfect pool setting with an infinity pool, the kayaks, the kitchen to die for and all the amenities that someone away from home could wish for are available at this home. I can't wait to return and would recommend this home to anyone needing a relaxing and well rounded trip. Thank you for sharing your home.

  I have rented many homes across the Caribbean and this was, hands down, the very best. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out in comfort and privacy. There are plenty of lounging areas, it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The master suite is amazing, but all of the rooms are nice, even if there isn't a view. There is very little traffic on the road and couldn't hear it anyway. The kitchen is huge and all seven of us could be in there cooking or cleaning and not bump into each other. We ate at home most of the time as cooking was a fun event with everyone pitching in. The pool area has lots of seating in both sun and shade. We even had parrots! The beach is accessible so we were in the water frequently- kayaking, swimming and snorkeling. We were able to watch a football game on t.v. one evening and the stereo made for some lively dance nights! Best of all, it is totally private. We had massage therapists come to the house and one set up in the private garden outside which was delightful- being able to hear the ocean and birds while being pampered. We also hired Geddes Hilsop - a curator at the Turtle Sanctuary who took us on a 5 hour tour of the island for birding. He is very knowledgable about the history and island biology. The Botanical Gardens are not to be missed. We dove both the west side off of Seven MIle Beach and the south side and much prefer the south- the diving was better and it is a 15 minute drive as opposed to one hour. We used McCurry car rental which had two cars waiting for us at the house and provided airport transfers. They also took us to the grocery store on the way to the house. Rick was very gracious and helpful. The house has every amenity and cooking utensil one could possibly need. It is beautifully decorated with personal touches so it does not feel like a sterile rental. We are coming back this year and hope to make this a yearly event.   Our family just returned from a stay at Sea Star and I'd highly recommend it to others. Everything about this property is first-class. The furnishings (esp. the comfortable beds) are of high quality and the huge kitchen is very well-equipped. This home is also COMPLETELY private. There are no other homes even remotely close-by, so we never saw another soul during our entire stay. The infinity pool is lovely and the star-gazing in the evenings is remarkable. Rick, the owner, was wonderful. He greeted us upon arrival, showed us around the property and made arrangements with Cayman Shoppers for the delivery of our groceries. He also welcomed us with the fixings for a pasta dinner & "Sea Star" hats for everyone - very nice. We hope to be back soon!
