View of Lake Sunapee from our sandy beach. - Sunapee, New Hampshire This brand-new Lake Sunapee waterfront home is available to rent by the week year round. Weekend rental is also available during the non-summer months. Our house, positioned between Bay Point and Fisher's Bay, has extensive lake views, including Burkhaven Lighthouse, Herrick Cove Lighthouse, Great and Little Islands, and the main body of Lake Sunapee. We are two miles from the Mount Sunapee Ski Area, and located directly on the lake. The 100 feet of private lake frontage includes a sandy beach and sandy bottom for great swimming, perfect for families of all ages. Designed and built in the Arts and Crafts style, you will find you have all the conveniences of home while still enjoying that cottage feel. Maple flooring and knotty pine ceilings are throughout the house. The kitchen has custom cherry cabinets, Corian countertops, a cherry breakfast bar with bar stools, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining area, which seats eight, opens onto a large screened porch with wicker furniture. The living room has a stone fireplace, a TV with DVD and VCR, stereo, and a slider leading to the screened porch. The first floor also has a full bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen-size bed. On the upper floor there are two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, and the laundry. The master bedroom, with a commanding view of the lake, has a queen size bed as well as a recently added full size futon couch. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. The full bathroom includes a double sink. All the furniture, mattresses and linens are brand new. The lower level of the house is a full unfinished walk-out basement with a large mahogany deck, rocking chairs, and a great view. Granite steps, stone walls, and perennials lead you down to the waterfront. Come enjoy your own private sandy beach, a rarity on Lake Sunapee. Just off the beach is a large bluestone patio complete with adirondack chairs. Swim, build sand castles, fish, or just relax and enjoy the long lake views. Two new kayaks, a canoe, a swim raft and life jackets are included for your enjoyment.
