This beautiful, 2-year old Craftsman-style, mountain home, nestled on 5 acres in the trees, has a breathtaking view of Lake Kachess and Kachess Ridge. The 3200 square foot, 3 level home, with 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathroom features a slate-tiled entry and a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, with maple cabinetry, granite countertops, a cooking island with bar seating and an adjoining dining area, with french doors leading to a wrap-around deck.

High pine ceilings and hickory plank flooring, add warmth and a touch of the rustic to the main floor. Living areas include a great room with a wood-burning stone fireplace and a plasma TV, and a den with a free-standing gas fireplace and a large-screen TV with surround sound. The master bedroom, located on the main floor, includes a king size bed, a large walk-in closet, a gas fireplace, a bathroom with a large walk-in shower and jetted tub, and french doors leading to a large deck.

The two spacious upstairs bedrooms include one with a queen size bed and a small deck, and one with a king size bed and a walk-in closet. An additional sleeping area is available in the den, that includes a comfortable sleeper couch and an adjoining bathroom with shower. The large laundry room includes oversize washer and dryer, and a utility sink. The home is very nicely furnished and clean. No smoking or pets please!

Outdoor activities abound in the area of Lake Kachess. Summer fun includes fishing, boating and water skiing, with lake access at the nearby state campground. There are also hiking and mountain biking areas within minutes of the house. In the winter, numerous snowmobile and cross country skiing trails are located in the area, with several downhill ski areas about a 15 minute drive to nearby Snoqualmie Pass. Three new golf courses are also available at the newly developed Suncadia Resort, located in the quaint old coal mining town of Roslyn, about a 20 minute drive east of Lake Kachess. Seattle is only about a one-hour drive away!
