Fully renovated and totally updated two bedroom, one bath two-story beach house in the heart of Montauk with all the gadgets and gizmos one could want in this trendy oceanside town. Central air, Smart Home Technology with apps for iPhone, iPad, Xoom etc. for the 3-zone speaker system, gas fireplace, flat screen TVs, marble kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances, outdoor patio w/ seating & gas bbq, and outdoor shower. All within very close distance to Montauk's fun shops, delicious restaurants and pristine ocean beaches.
Coming for the Summer of 2013. We will be adding another house for seasonal rental in the heart of East Hampton Village. Located on Pleasant Lane just behind the new Mary's Marvelous on Newtown Lane. You will enjoy the location and proximity to the East Hampton Village Shops and all is attractions.

We stayed in this house from Friday (10/5) to Sunday (10/7) with another couple. It was a just a weekend getaway to relax and play a round of golf at Montauk Downs. First of all, the house is exactly as adverstised in the pictures. Actually, it is even nicer in person. The location is close to town, the beach, and the golf course. The house is pretty unassuming upon arrival and one of my two negative comments is the fact that there is another small house that shares the same property (as mentioned by the previous review). It is just visually a little awkward but certainly did not impact that quality of our visit. The only other negative would be that there is one bathroom. Everything else about the house is perfect. The entire place looks as if it was just remodeled. All of the appliances are new and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need...including a very nice Weber grill on the patio. The decor is very tasteful and comfortable. Furthermore, there is WIFI, a large new HDTV on the wall in the living room, and a great sound system that can be turned on in various zones in and outside of the house. Last, the process of booking the house with simple and nothing was a surprise. I would definitely rent this house again. I had the pleasure of staying in the cottage with some girlfriends and have to say that we had such an amazing time due to a number of factors. The house itself is adorable, super clean and has everything you need and more. If you don't have a car, don't worry. The beach and town are literally a 5 minute walk away. Pros: - unlike many other places in Montauk which require one week or one month minimum stays, we were able to reserve this for a weekend getaway - the cottage is newly renovated with high end finishes/appliances in the bathroom and kitchen (and a great looking grill which we unfortunately didn't have time to use...next time) - i've used homeaway for vacation rentals several times and I've never been in a home (or hotel for that matter) that was this clean...the house is also fully stocked with everything you need (clean towels, bedding, pots/pans, etc.) - you won't need it but the owner is very responsive if you need anything or have any questions Cons: - if we had to list something it would be the fact that there is a smaller cottage/home behind this cottage (shares a driveway) that you don't see in the pictures.
