A wonderful cabin for couples, families or small retreat groups.
Our Get-Away-From-It-All Cabin is in a country setting, allowing you to escape to a peaceful location, yet be close to many Northern Michigan attractions. The property is surrounded by fields, woods, and hundreds of acres of state land. Enjoy the quiet and the natural wildlife including deer and wild turkey. A perfect location for a romantic get-away, ski or snowmobiling vacation, morel mushroom hunting, color tour, women's retreat, summer excursion, or hunting trip.
Newly completed in 2005, our cabin was designed and decorated with an up-north feel with all wood ceiling, up to it’s 22 feet great room peak, hardwood and tile floors, and rustic twigs lighting and décor. A floor-to-ceiling wood-burning stone fireplace is located in the living room.
The master suite includes a queen size natural cedar log bed and furniture, and attached bathroom with extra large soaking tub and separate shower. The loft has a queen-sized sleeper sofa bed. Lower bedrooms have bunk beds. All rooms, including great room, have ceiling fans. A large entry room provides a place to store skis and boots, coats, and other items. The home boasts a wrap around porch and expansive windows providing a beautiful country mountain view. Enjoy a bonfire at our outdoor firepit, playing in the yard, and a relaxing meal on the patio with ample seating.
This home is within 15 to 20 minutes of many Northern Michigan attractions including Boyne Mountain, downhill and cross-country skiing, golf, restaurants, new Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark, mountain biking, Petoskey, shopping, restaurants and other attractions, beaches, Lake Charlevoix, Thumb Lake, Walloon Lake, Boyne City, shopping, restaurants and other attractions, and hunting, snowmobiling or cycling out the door.
