  Just got back from our Vacation, Unfortunately we only stayed there two nights, We were not told Construction would be going on in the Building and it was impossible to Sleep! My Recommendation to future Guests, Ask all the Questions you can before Booking or else you will end up like us having to move Somewhere else. The place looks exactly like the Picture, It was Clean an tidy, The only thing i saw was at the Beach by the kids playground equipment there was lots of beer bottle caps, very dangerous! I saw a Guest staying there cut herself when walking at the beach in front of the condo, owners need to get on top of that making sure the beach front is also clean and safe for guest.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

  Owner response: This is extremely unfortunate for this family with a baby and young child. When I confirmed this rental I did not know that the condominium building was going to be under construction from 9am till 5pm. They do not advise owners in advance. These small children needed naps and construction noise was loud. These renters notified me regarding this problem and I did refund their money within 10 minutes of notification. My Property Manager was able to confirm an alternative resort for them.

  We loved every minute of our stay at Cancun Plaza! the pool and the beach were the best. The condo was clean, very nice. The week went too fast! It is close to everything by bus. Nice and relaxing. Thanks for sharing your place with us!!!

  We had a great experience in Cancun thanks to this special home away from home. The manager Carmen was there to greet us when we arrived, and she was able to answer most of our questions. Unit #3212 was very clean, cute and included all we needed to be comfortable for our two week vacation. The owners, Karen and Guy, happened to be staying in the complex at the same time...delightful friendly couple, also very helpful. This is a nice quiet informal family oriented place, with handy shops and restaurant on the premises, just as advertised. The beach and pool are gorgeous, and even with the red flag warnings out we had a great time wading and walking along the shore for miles. The bus stop out front was so easy for going to the busier part of the beach with the Mayan ruins and into town; simple to get to Walmart for groceries, to enjoy the local parks and people and restaurants, and to take the ferry to Isla Majueres. Our favorite restaurant JC Capitan was a short walk from the condo... not inexpensive, but great food, great sunset view and very friendly waiters. We'll definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  We just got back from our vacation in Cancun. Decided to get away with short notice and heard about VRBO. We rented this condo and were very pleased with our VRBO experience. I would definitely rent this particular condo again. This is all a person needs unless you want to eat & drink yourself silly - then go to an expensive all-inclusive. The property manager was waiting for our arrival. She gave us our keys and answered any questions we had.......and there was many. This condo has a built in safe - which we loved........locked up our passports and money. The kitchette is small but that is why its called 'kitchenette'. Everything was very clean & maintained. All the kichen utensils we needed. Full size refridgerator was terrific as I hate bending on my hands and knees with those tiny half-refrigerators that hold nothing. New linens were on the beds and beds & pillows were very comfortable. Ample thick towels and a great size shower. Always hot water. The pool is clean with lots of lounge chairs. The beach is amazing .......probably the best beach strip in all of Cancun - we walked for miles - extremely turqoise water. Making our own breakfast, lunch, and snacks was great. Ordered pizza delivery for 1 dinner - the other 9 dinners we went out - Cancun has so many wonderful restaurants to choose from. The location was great - in the hotel zone - but NOT near the crazy bar scene. Public buses are within feet from the condo - only 65 cents - and takes you everywhere. Destinations are written on the front of the bus so you can not get lost. Buses were so easy that we only took a taxi once - and that was coming back from buying groceries. I would certainly recommend this condo for friends and family.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

  U should imagine that u are going on your third aniversary vacations in cancun, Mexico and renting this condo thinking that you are going to have best vacations ever! Let me share my experience! We had a small 15 month old baby with us too. We reach condo on nov 20/11 at around 9 pm and the manager gave us the keys and left right away. When we got inside, we found a broken pieces of glass from coffee maker on then kitchen shelf. We were shocked! We try to call, found that phone was dead. We try to email, found that wifi doesn't work. Then we try ton feed our baby who is an IPad baby. We have to put some baby Einstein video for him to feed him solid food. He was crazy hungry. So we didn't had any internet, we try to put cartoons on TV, found TV was totally blurry. U can't ever see anything. All lines horizontally on all over the screen. We were struck. Then we had to feed just a little bit milk to our baby and put him to sleep. When we try to put blanket on him, guess what??? Whole blanket was covered with dust. OH MY GOD! This is not just enough, when we woke up in the morning, we try to shower, it was barely giving some drops of water. When my husband go to toilet, he try to flush, it was struck. Toilet wasn't working either. No coffee or tea in morning, no washroom. We go directly to the manager's room. She wasn't there. Fortunately, she came at 11:00 am and we talked to her about this. Then she mentioned that she is calling all of the persons to get all this fixed. BUT !!!!! Guess what??????? What she said??????? She said i can't guarantee that this will be done today, because today is HOLIDAY in MEXICO. We were so disappointed, and we had to feed our baby too. But we just packed our stuff back and gave keys to the manager and said no thanks. We can't stay here for 6 more nights. Then we had no Internet, no phone to call. But all we had was a rented car. So we traveling to different hotels and ask about pricing and facilities. Our baby was hungry and it was too hot too and going back and forth in hotels. Finally, after 4-5 hours of traveling, we found a very nice hotel called as " HYATT".

  Owner response: Let's start off saying that when I reserve a booking I need flight information with arrival time and carrier, as per the rental agreement. I tell everyone this because my Property Manager Carmen, will be waiting to give the keys, paper work, etc. Carmen can not be expected to wait for hours and hours and hours. These renters showed up 5 hours late. Carmen had phoned the airport and their plane had arrived on time. She was genuinely concerned when they were no-where to be seen. I even tried phoning and e-mailing this couple at home in Vancouver, thinking that maybe they had missed their plane. I'm not sure if they decided to go shopping, site-seeing, out for dinner, but they left Carmen waiting for 5 hours. When they arrived, the Internet and Satellite Dish was being serviced by the building administration. Rectified by morning. This was completely out of my control. Terribly sorry that your 15 month old child will not eat without the Internet. I've never heard of an I-pad baby before. Yes, the maid did break the coffee carafe when cleaning and left a piece of glass on the kitchen shelf. The coffee maker was replaced with a new model. Apart for this everything was found in fine standings.

  We rented what we thought was this condo, however, it was not available when we arrived. We were extremely DISAPPOINTED with this rental and would NOT recommend renting this at all. We were told we would be picked up at the airport - NO ONE PICKED US UP -, we finally got to the condo only to find out there was water coming through the ceiling in the bathroom. We were told there was only two other places available, we looked at them & they were both smelly & not a place I would want to stay. We finally talk to another person & she tells us there are more available. However, there are no safes in any of these rooms.........I wasn't real comfortable with the idea of leaving my computer & my passports in my room. I asked if they would pay if someone stole anything from our room and they said no. It was getting late, and we decided we had to stay in one of the places for the night. We stayed in someone else's condo, had to ask for towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. The towels we received were stained and not something I would expect when renting a place. This was an ocean front condo & no beach towels were included. You could "rent" beach towels, or go buy your own. Any of the dishes we used, had to washed before using them. The TV did not come in well and one night we did we were not able to get any TV. When we returned, we emailed Karen & told her we were upset about our accommodations & the fact no one was available at the airport to pick us up. Her comments were "I never said that" and "it states in the contract "upon arrival at the condo......". I have been to Cancun before and new I would need transportation, that is why I specifically asked about pick up at the airport. However, I was told I was wrong. We were told the owner was being reimbursed for her loss of income and asked to be reimbursed for some of our inconvenience and she never responded. We made the best of a bad situation but I can say, I would NEVER stay at this place again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Patty & Terry Wisconsin

  Owner response: I am very disturbed to have received this review. This women thought I would give her a vacation for free, and that is NOT how life works! It is extremely unfortunate that this renter had to be relocated to an alternative condo within the building. We had plumbing leaking from the condo above ours. It was either move them to an alternative or they would have had major water leaking in the bathroom. This renter claims that this alternative condo was not at all exceptable, YET, my Property Manager never had any complaints whatsoever. Then, some time afterward I received an e-mail saying that they wanted their money back. I completely refused. If you were to buy a steak dinner in a restaurant, and eat the entire meal without complaint - you could NOT call the chef over and show him your empty plate and say that you refuse to pay for the dinner because you didn't like the way your steak was cooked. You MUST say something (at the time of your complaint) and then service people can try to satisfy your request. Also, If this renter would have read the Rental Agreement it clearly states that beach towels are NOT included. Transportation is also your own responsibility and this lady was told such in her initial inquiries. This lady tried to get something for nothing - plain and simple. If you read our other reviews, previous renters have been very pleased.

  Just a note to say hello and tell you I had a fantastic time in Cancun. The condo has the best beach and a beautiful pool! The little ladies at the Palapas Bar were my favorite. I hung out with them quite a bit. We couldn't understand each other very well, but it was entertaining trying to communicate! I walked South down the beach (like you suggested) and saw incredible tide pools of tropical baby fish, after I made it past all the Iguanas! That was a awesome experience. The weather was perfect everyday. I had a great vacation. Chris is the perfect property manager and I greatly appreciated getting to meet him. I hope you can come visit West Yellowstone one day!

  "Karen and Guy's condo is beautiful, clean, well kept and and is exactly as pictured on their VRBO website. The view from their balcony is breathtaking and simply spectacular. You are right on the ocean and can sleep with the patio doors open at night, with the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep and the ocean breezes blowing over you as you sleep. Pure heaven. We liked the set up of the place in that you get your own individual entrance and it truly feels like a little home. It's very private and very quiet. Chris, their property manager, is the friendliest, nicest, and most helpful person you'll ever meet. He'll greet you when you arrive and is always only a phone call away if you've got a question or concern or need some advice or help. And he's just SO super nice and accommodating. And then there are the beaches. If you're going for the weather, the beach and the swimming - it's the clearest, bluest, warmest water you'll ever dip your toe in, and you can see all sorts of fish, starfish and coral. The snorkeling is amazing (and addictive) and so fun and safe and beautiful. We highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing, laid back vacation in a beautiful, clean, well-maintained, quiet, friendly and safe complex."

  My family and I stayed in this unit March 30 - April 6th. We were very impressed with the casual, relaxing atmosphere at this condo unit. We were travelling with our young boys aged 9 and 11 so the location and atmosphere was perfect for our first trip to Mexico. We spent most of our time at the pool as the red flags were up down by the ocean. A short walk down to Club Med provided calm ocean swimming when we were in the mood for the walk. We purchased groceries at Walmart and ate breakfast and lunch in our unit, and went out every night to a different spot for dinner to enjoy the street entertainers and see different parts of Cancun. Enjoyed shopping in Market 28 which is a short walk from Walmart, also attended church that the owners recommended which was in English and Spanish. We lucked out and got to meet the owners while we were vacationing. We were very impressed with their hospitality and genuine desire to offer us the best vacation deal for our visit to Mexico. Too bad we didn't have more time and money as we would have stayed for a month!! We will definitely be recommending this unit to our friends and family.
