"Mt. Rose" is a modern home with old world charm located in the beautiful "Old Southwest" section of Reno, only five minutes from downtown Reno.
This gorgeous 3300 square foot home truly has something for everyone. There are two wet bars, a four person sauna with a large adjoining shower on the main floor near the bedrooms, and upstairs, you can enjoy comfortable leather seating while watching a big screen TV in a large media room with surround sound, skylights, a remote controlled gas fireplace, and a granite wet bar.
The home has five bedrooms (all with luxurious pillow-top mattresses), and four bathrooms on the main floor -- two of the bedrooms have king size beds, and the other three bedrooms have queen size beds (one also has a day bed with a slide out trundle.) For extra sleeping there is a second day bed and trundle upstairs in the media room. The home has four fireplaces.
On the private backyard patio, there is seating for twelve, a gas barbeque, and a pool table. The home has a two car garage and additional off-street parking.
The house has an electronic keyless entry. This system is easy to use and eliminates any possible problems with lost keys. (You also won't have to drive around trying to find the place to pick up your keys when you arrive). Our customers love it.

Hot August Nights, Street Vibrations, & Dec 22-Jan 1 (3 night minimum):

We stayed at this home for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. It was more than I had hoped for. The rooms were spacious and private. The neighborhood was quiet with everything you might want within a 5 mile radius. We did have an issue with the heating but the homeowner was very responsive and there with help within an hour. We thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time.

We are a senior women's softball team that was in Reno for a tournament. 13 women in one house!!! When I made the reservation I wasn't sure how 13 women between the ages of 50-60 would handle living in one house. The five bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were perfect. The upstairs media room was used as a sixth bedroom and everyone was very happy. We will be in Reno next year around the same time for the "Rockin' Reno" softball tournament and hope that we can stay again at this wonderful house. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful 3 night/4 day stay. We'll be back!!!

My friends and I stayed here for an impromptu mini HS reunion. It was the perfect weekend, and this house was a huge part of that success! It's beautiful, spacious (we weren't all on top of each other) and had everything we needed. The outdoor patio was a perfect gathering spot, as was the large kitchen. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! We would definitely stay here again. Owner is so nice, and took great care of us. Sushi Pier 2 is just down the road too! Great house and a wonderful weekend!

I live in Mt Rose for 2 days. It is a great house. Everything is clean and neat. The owner is amiable; although I bothered her in the first night, she was still kind and patient to answer my questions. I enjoy this house, and I believe it is a wonderful choice for me and my friends.

My party stayed for 6 nights in June. 14 people from PA, WI and MN. I met the owner after I called her about a tree branch needing removal. She was there within 10 minutes and we removed the branch. We were very happy with the accomodations. Especially the roominess. All rooms were excellent. 4 bathrooms was a great help getting ready for the wedding. The girls really liked the master bathroom. The listing was accurate about rooms, baths and ammenities. We had a bar b que one night with 20 people attending. Plenty of room to accomodate all. Some of the comments to me : "You did good.", "This beats a hotel rooms.", "I can't believe how big this place is." We were within 15 minutes of every place we needed to be for the wedding. We visited the amazing views of Lake Tahoe as well as Virginia City. I heartily recommend this property if you have 10 or more people in your party.
