Wonderful centrally air-conditioned house located on quiet road in Old Saybrook’s Chalker Beach. Recently renovated with new kitchen, bath and central air conditioning, this house has stunning views of Long Island Sound across the salt marsh.

This bright and airy home has sliding glass doors that open onto an expansive wrap-around deck. One bedroom features a queen size bed and there are two twins in the second bedroom. There is a twin sized pull out in the family room on the lower level.

The house comes complete with all linens, towels, cable TV/DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas grill, beach chairs, wireless internet and CENTRAL AIR!

The property has a large yard and features a private rainforest shower built into a giant rhododendron.

Take a short stroll to the private sandy beach past the quaint Chalker Beach General Store. The association clubhouse located on the beach has parking, restrooms, games, a library, and more. There are movies each week on the beach.

Chalker Beach is ideal for biking or walking and is just minutes away from the shops and restaurants on Main Street.

The house is smoke free and pet friendly.

Located less than a two hour drive from mid-town Manhattan or Boston, there is also an Amtrak stop in town. The area is perfect for long walks, bicycling, scenic drives, canoeing, kayaking, antiquing, and more.

20 minutes to Mystic Seaport and Aquarium
15 minutes to the Goodspeed Opera House and Outlet Malls

  • My husband, myself, and my pets stayed at this lovely house in February for almost two weeks.........the stay was not only relaxing and delightful, but the views surrounding us were astounding! It is so nice to have our pets with us and to stay in a very clean and fresh house with all the furnishings and appliances needed! The owner is very nice and informative on the area. Staying here is the best part of staying on Old Saybrook for you can come back after a day's adventure to a most inviting house with a bit of class. It is also very close to the beach and is located on a very quiet, quaint street!! We would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to get away and yet feel right at home! Thanks Al! Julie
