This house is amazing, it was a big hit with us, it has all amenities of home and then some. We never meet the owners or the property manager but the service was 5 star, they made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend and our stay at Stratton. We recently had the pleasure of staying at this warm winter residence for a long skiing weekend. This immaculate house, only 3 miles from the main Stratton village and gondola, was packed with everything that you would possibly need during your stay: sauna, jacuzzi, a large snow-covered yard, laundry room, ping pong table, double oven, an immense refrigerator & freezer, and even a belgian waffle maker! Big, comfy couches make the family rooms cozy. Many large, beautiful wooden beds and furniture adorn the bedrooms (most with lovely views of the Bromley ski mountain). Be prepared for a little radiator noise at night, but after skiing all day, your tired legs and wind-burned face lie listless in crisp, clean white linens as you rejuvenate for yet another day of snow fun. Joanna and Gary are gracious hosts in this, their wonderful winter wonderland.Owner response: Thank you for your kind comments and for taking such great care of the property during your stay. Just returned from a perfect vacation at Stratton Mountain. We were a group of 11, out of which 5 were young kids, and everybody was very comfortable. The house is in perfect conditions, well equipped and beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms include all of the luxurious amenities. It was excellent for the kids, as it has great entertainment area with ping pong table, table games, tv, etc. The property is only a short 5 min drive away from the base lodge. We would not only recommend this to our friends and family, but are already planning to come back next year. Doing business with Gary and Joanna was a true delight!Owner response: No one could ask for finer guests and we are gratified that you enjoyed the house and the mountain.

I emailed Gary on Thursday after Sandy as we needed to get out of town and away from the mess in NJ. He got right back to me and had the house ready for us the next afternoon (Friday). What a great house (the pics don;t do it justice). Plenty of room for two families and convenient to all. Staying there was a pleasure and Gary and Joanna were just awesome. Words cannot express how wonderful our experience was staying at this property and dealing with Joanna and Gary! The house is beautiful - even more beautiful than the pictures show (which is unusual) - with every room perfectly proportioned, elegant, wonderfully furnished. The kitchen is amazing, even down to the little details like the choices of mugs, glasses, silverware, etc. It is so well outfitted with everything you could possibly need to create any gourmet meal and store the leftovers after. The house was immaculate, the beds were super-comfortable with luxurious sheets. Towels and all amenities were provided. Hot tub and sauna were incredible additions to help ease aching muscles at the end of each day and share stories amongst the family. Views were magnificent, silence was healing. Joanna and Gary have got to be the most responsive hosts I have ever come across. Every question was responded to promptly and when we inadvertently blew a breaker, the caretaker was there within half an hour to fix it. He came and went quietly and was done in 10 minutes. We hated leaving and will definitely return. I would highly recommend the location to anyone. The welcome package outlines everything including recommendations for groceries, activities, restaurants so I won't go into all that here. Suffice it to say, we were overwhelmingly surprised!Owner response: Thank you for your kind review. My friends and I have been renting a ski house every season for years. We've been to many different mountains in Vermont but this was the first time staying in Stratton. This house was PERFECT. In addition to being spotless, the decor made you feel like you were at a hotel/resort and not just at someone's 2nd home. White linens, and fresh towels folded in every bathroom, this house made you feel like you were on a true 5-star vacation. The house was also very spread out so every couple felt like they had a great deal of privacy. The owners are extremely responsive to emails/questions and provided a great deal of info before arrival (where to go grocery shopping, access to the health club, restaurant recommendations, etc). A large group of friends spent a long weekend here for a college reunion in February and had a fantastic time! Garry and Joanna were extremely helpful and very easy to work with prior to our arrival. We knew the house would be nice after seeing the pictures online but we were blown away. The house is immaculately clean, fully stocked (shampoo, paper goods, spices, cooking supplies, etc) and more than big enough for the 12 people it sleeps. We loved having our own fire place, extremely comfortable living room, kitchen big enough to cook a large 'family dinner' in and plenty of privacy with so many bedrooms and baths. We spent hours in the sauna and the hot tub which has an amazing view of the mountains in the background (has does the entire house!). The skiers loved Stratton mountain which was just a short drive away. Some of us also took a trip to Manchester which has lots of stores, a cute coffee shop and very interesting antique store! Overall, we could not have picked a better place to stay nor better owners to handle our reservation. After 12 hours of being in the house we were already planning out our trip back for next year!! The house is immaculate. Details have been taken care of to the T. Kitchen is a chefs dream. Hot tub and Sauna were welcome amenities after a long day on the slopes. The beds and bedrooms beautiful as well as comfortable. Easy drive to the mountain or to Manchester. We had an awesome weekend here with a group of couples. The home was beautiful and a very relaxing and cozy place to return to after a day of skiing. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and were always available to answer questions that came up during our stay. Prior to our arrival we were provided with detailed information regarding things to know about the home, directions, and local attractions.
