ALOHA! Stunning views abound from this spacious and open corner loft unit, at the Papakea Resort. Located less than 50 yards from the ocean, makes this beautifully decorated and remodeled unit almost ocean front. Save and rent directly from owner for quality that you can count on when you arrive.
The Papakea Resort is a tropical oasis on 13 acres of manicured grounds, with a thoroughly Hawaiian atmosphere. It has the largest amount of land of any condominium resort on Maui’s spectacular Kaanapali beach, the only resort with two ocean front pools, two spas and two large 12 hole putting greens. Grounds also include three lighted tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two beach cabanas, tranquil koi ponds, lush gardens and 12 outdoor barbecues.
Papakea is conveniently located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world class golf resorts, just minutes away from shops, restaurants and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whaler’s Village. Walk to the grocery store, delis and other services on the other side of Papakea and right across the street. Other restaurants are within walking distance just down the beach.
K-401 is the top fourth floor corner unit closest to the ocean. The K building is very desirable because it shelters the lanai and living room from the afternoon sun and is in a quiet dead end parking lot. An elevator is just a few doors away. Free parking is right outside the building.
A beautiful remodel provided new cabinets, granite countertops, tile floors and many other updates. K-401 was then a model unit on the Papakea Homeowner’s Annual Meeting unit tours for two years.
The entire first floor and lanai, has the cool feel of clean tiles, placed in an elegant diagonal pattern. Storage is abundant throughout, with extra closets and dressers. The owners continue to upgrade and maintain the unit EVERY year to sustain the quality guest experience. The latest major improvement is a Fujitsu tri-zone air conditioning system that provides three independently controlled air handlers in the living room/kitchen, loft and master bedroom for unparalleled comfort.
Soaring wood cathedral ceilings rise up to the loft, that makes this unit feel like a home rather than just a hotel room. Picketed railings allow light and air to flow through but children under 5 are not recommended, due to dangers inherent in the loft.
The K building was also finished in the almost $1 million dollar per building Papakea exterior renovation project in the summer of 2012. The project reversed almost 40 years of ocean front wear by repairing the concrete spalling damage, replacing all of the building railings, coating the lanais and walkways with a high tech engineered surface and painting the exterior. Papakea has never looked better!

Pricing below is far lower than Aston Hawaii rack rates and other internet travel services, but no surprises when you check in. If you pay for Papakea unit K-401 quality, you will get the K-401 location and amenities for your stay. No ka ‘oi.

The resort charges a $15 per night Facilities Use Fee to a maximum of 10 nights per stay, collected at checkout.
Cleaning is provided at no extra charge for all rentals of at least 7 nights.
Personal checks are preferred to allow us to eliminate all possible costs and keep rates as low as possible. Approximately 50% of the total rental cost is required at the time of booking. The residual balance is due about 60 days prior to arrival.

About the owner: Mike and Cindy are both pharmacists and have two sons, Ryan and Justin and a corgi named Riley. The Maui condo has always been a wonderful second home to gather the family since we now all live in different parts of the country.
Why the Owner Chose Papakea Resort: Maui has always been a magical place for our family, even before we bought the condo. While there are fantastic activities, we mostly just enjoy the relaxing Hawaiian culture, snorkeling, laying around water and dining in a variety of spectacular settings.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: Papakea is a beautiful setting for all ages. We bought because Papakea has the rare commodity of land. It's not a typical hotel like high rise facility. There are wonderful beaches in both directions and the putting greens are fun relaxation.
Unit K-401 has the added benefit of wide open spacing. The loft soars high up and the side window contributes to NOT feeling like a cramped hotel room. K-401 feels like somone's home because it is. Having a second floor in the loft just adds to the feeling.
