What a great location/unit. We came based upon another's stay/visit in this same unit and were not disappointed. Mike and Cindy were a pleasure to work with and the entire process was as simple as it gets from start to finish. Unit very nicely appointed with all the little extras(boogie boards/coolers/ice packs/great dishes) and on and on! May sound a little silly but the keypad on the door was a great little bonus--no key(s) to worry about losing and family could come and go after remembering code(sometimes it is just the little things!) Lots of use of the little putting green(clubs and balls of course in the unit!) and morning coffee on lania with a great view. We are planning our return trip and hoping this unit will be available for our return dates! Thanks Mike and Cindy!!

The Cameron family is home. > I have to take a minute and say Mahalo to your family for allowing us to spend 14 of the most glorious days > we have had in a long time in your wonderful condo. > Whale watching on the lanai, walking the grounds and swimming in the evenings. Life just does not get better. > Your condo never never disappoints. From the moment we walked in till we left it felt like home. > My in laws were there for one week with us. They were staying at the Maui Kai and would walk over. They were so impressed with your condo. One of our highlights was having them over for supper. We loved staying at Mike and Cindy's condo..it was clean, plenty of room, beautiful views, the location was great, parking right in front....they were such a pleasure to work with...Every morning having coffee on the Lanai...listening to the waves hit the shore...I would think..it doesn't get any better then this.

We just returned from Maui and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The condo was clean and nicely appointed and the view was spectacular. The view from the lanai is breathtaking and we were pleasantly surprised that we enjoyed the same view from the upstairs loft, kitchen and living room as well! We appreciated having coolers in the closet for picnics down to the beach. It was nice having a corner unit on the top floor with vaulted ceilings-spacious for the whole family. We were within walking distance of the grocery store, coffee shop and snorkel gear rental shop. The grounds at Papakea are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. We really enjoyed our time at the pool as well at the tennis courts. We will definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family. Mahalo!

Mike and Cindy, We just reurned from a 6 night stay at your beautiful condo. I would like to tell future renters that everything you read in the description and the pictures that you see are all right on target. This is a nicely remodeled, top floor, corner unit. The condo is very clean and well maintained.We enjoyed sitting on the lani and just taking in the ocean views. We especially loved the grounds at the Papakea Resort,12 acres of lush tropical, beautifuly groomed grounds. Stores and the farmers market are all within walking distance. We discoverd the new boardwalk, which starts just down the beach at the Honua Kai, very nice to be able to have such a nice long walk available. The owner, Mike Hurst was very quick to respond to e-mails, friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this condo and look forward to renting it again.Thank You D.Lott

We have stayed in this condo four years in a row. Its a quiet and very comfortable unit at the Papakea Resort - and it has a sublime view from the lanai. The listing photos are very accurate. The top-floor, corner location of the unit guarantees peace and privacy. It is very obvious that the owners really care for the place. The condo has always been clean and very well stocked upon our arrival. We plan on returning for a fifth time in 2011.

Mike & Cindy, We just returned from our trip to Maui. Your Condo was perfect for the entire family, the kids enjoyed the loft and we enjoyed the beautiful view every day. The location of the condo is so close to everything, beautiful beaches and shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer were really convenient. When selecting a vacation condo sight unseen from an online location, it can sometimes be a "shot-in-the-dark". But definitely not with this property as it solves all vacation worries! We absolutely loved everything about it. The condo is beautifully maintained with everything needed to make your vacation perfect. The grounds are lovely, the people are helpful, and the views are breath-taking. It is also in the heart of the action with lots to do close by. Mike and Cindy are so easy to work with and truly have pride in ownership. That only makes their shared second home an oasis for those who rent it from them. Aloha Mike & Cindy: We stayed in your unit K401 from August 10th - 19th. It's always so HARD to leave Maui and have to jump right back into the daily grind! We all just wanted to let you know that we really appreciated being able to stay in your unit at Papakea. It was one of the nicest and well equipped units we have been able to stay in. The view from your unit was just picture perfect and provided the ideal setting for a relaxing vacation. This was the first time we have used the keyless entry system and we were a little hesitant at first. I have to say though that by the second day we were sold. It was great to go to the pool and not have to worry about carrying a key card! I hope we are able to stay in your wonderful home again some time. If you ever need recommendations for future potential renters let us know. We would be happy to tell others about our stay in your wonderful home. Maui 2009 First Condo rental expereince

I missed the convenience of shopping & restaurants within walking distance. I have stayed in Kaanapali area on previous visits,but this was my first one to stay in a Condo. The beach wasn't as beautiful to lay out on, as Kaanapali. In fact when we arrived there was no beach, the next morning when the tide was out, there was a beach. I did enjoy having a full kitchen available. It made having breakfast like home, I didn't have to get dressed to go out and find a restaurant. The Condo was not central air, and Trade Winds were not as nice, as it was unseaonable hot for this time of year June 7, 2009. There was a window unit, but we were asked by the owners to be mindful of the cost to run the unit, as oil was very expensive. The Condo was equipped with extra's that one would not have thought of, even a cooler for picnics if needed, extra fans to stay cool in the condo etc... If you are looking for isolation this would be a perfect condo, and the view of the ocean from the Lani, was awesome.

Whales, whales and more... dolphins! We saw it all, either from the boats or the lanai. I got some amazing pictures of the whales and spinner dolphins.
