This 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo in the gated Mahogany Run community, on St. Thomas' north shore, is less than a mile from world famous Magens Bay and 15 minutes north of Charlotte Amalie. Featuring a full kitchen with high end appliances, cable TV, video library, high speed DSL, whirlpool tub, gas grill on the large covered balcony, restaurant and two pools on site, you are close to beaches, shopping, snorkeling, diving, sailing, golfing, or just relax on the balcony and enjoy the fantastic view.
This single bedroom condo is perfect for a honeymoon couple or a family of four. The kitchen features a Viking professional gas stove/convection oven. The master bath features a granite countertop and whirlpool tub with a view of the ocean. The unit has Italian ceramic floors throughout, and offers spectacular views of the ocean. The bedroom has a work area, complete with DSL and an HP Fax/printer. Or work on the balcony using WIFI technology. The condo is fully equipped for your audio/video enjoyment with two DVD players, VCR, Technics receiver, CD player and two TV's with cable. Plus, there is a full size washer and dryer in the unit.
Mahogany Getaway is on the grounds of the Fazio designed championship Mahogany Run Golf Course. If you're familiar with Mahogany Run, you know that some of the condos have a golf course view, with just a peek at the ocean off in the distance, but they still bill themselves as "ocean view". Mahogany Getaway is on the ocean side of the hill, and has a full ocean view! There are two freshwater swimming pools, a pro shop, the Grill Room restaurant, and The Old Stone Farmhouse, a gourmet restaurant, all on site.
You are one mile (about 5 minutes) from Magens Bay Beach, St. Thomas' signature beach, and one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Mahogany Getaway features: one bedroom unit, which accommodates up to four, located in a secure gated community, 18 Hole Mahogany Run championship golf course on site, two pools on site.

We went to St. Thomas for a wedding. There were 15 couples scattered across the island. Our place was the best. We all spend around the same amount of money. The owners left us all the info we need, market, dinning,beaches,shopping. The view was perfect. or should I say EVERYTHING was perfect. Very Clean it felt like home and not a motel.

Every last detail was perfect at M.G. Steve and Robin thought of everything. Well stocked kitchen, bathroom, even a scale. View was great. I felt that if I had any problem, which I didn't, Steve and Robin would have been there for us. Great size for Myself, husband, and 12year old. Great stay!

Mahogany Getaway is a lovely place in a lovely setting far removed from the "busy" of St.Thomas. This property is perfect for two adults or two adults and a child.

My wife and I just got back from a week at Mahogany Getaway and all the other comments are true. Its a great place to stay. The views are great and its probably better equipped than your home. The location is beautiful and safe, and convenient to get anywhere on the island with a rental car. Robin and Steve make it very easy and supplied all the info we could use, and yes, the upstairs neighbors are wonderful too. We will return.

The top ten reasons to stay at Mahogany Getaway: 10. Marc and Diane, the upstairs neighbors; 9. Internet access (sometimes hard to find on the island); 8. Clear cell signal (see above); 7. It is the best equipped vacation home I've ever stayed at (and I've been at enough to know!); 6. The view (see the listing for the photos). Nothing's better than seeing BVI off the deck; 5. A kitchen that has nicer appliances than my home; 4. A home decorated with true island style; 3. Cost (you'll have to look hard to find a hotel/resort that will offer the ability to live the island life); 2. Safety; and 1. Steve and Robin. They are professional and a class act. They made our stay easy from the minute we made our reservation. We always stay somewhere different on St. Thomas but with the Mahogany Getaway, we have our (rental) home away from home!

Steve & Robin, We just got back, and we can't wait to come back! Your place is really magnificent. The view and location are the best on the island. The condo was equipped with everything we needed from all the kitchen supplies to the beach chairs and umbrella, coolers and binoculars and snorkel equipment. The condo was immaculate when we arrived, and the viking stove and barbq grill were tremendous. We have stayed on the island many times, and Mahogany Getaway is the best place by far. Hope to be back soon.

Loved our stay at MR condo - everything was just as we expected...the condo was well equipped and even had a scale so we could weigh our bags before we left. Would highly recommend staying here - there was no place on the island we would have rather stayed.

Can't think of a single thing that was negative about our week's stay at MG. The place was great, the view is unsurpassed anywhere as far as I'm concerned. The kitchen was well equipped. The renter's instructions were simple and clear. We'd gladly return and we'd recommend to anyone.

Our 10 day stay ended way too fast. We loved every minute. The condo is spacious, the view is beautiful and Mahogany Run is a fabulous gated community. The condo is truly home away from home, fully equipped with everything you need. This was one of the best vacations, EVER. We are planning on returning soon.
