  My husband and I and our two sons and their families had a wonderful stay at Sea Salt. It was nicely furnished, very roomy, and had a well-stocked kitchen. The library alcove was such a nice touch. The house was exactly as described, immaculate and insect-free. We all rode our bicycles in the neighborhood and were impressed with the polite drivers and scenic surroundings. We look forward to another stay in the near future. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and other family members.

  Our second visit was as perfect as our first. Perfectly clean and maintained; comfortable in every way. Looking forward to our next vacation at Sea Salt. Never any problems. Thank you for making this lovely home available to us.

  This was our second stay at Sea Salt, and was just as wonderful as the first. The house was perfect for us, a great location ,and 5 star accomadations. The house is just as advertised,and very clean.The house is well cared for ,and very comfortable .We hope to return soon, and stay longer!

  We were in Santa Rosa Beach for a family wedding. We had 3 adults and 3 children in our party. The house was wonderful, and everyone was very comfortable. The home was clean and very nicely appointed. We have rented homes and apartments all over the world, literally, and this was one place that looked as nice, even a bit nicer, than the pictures posted! If we are ever in need of a place in that part of Florida, we definitely will rent again, if available.

• Dirty! Roach Motel!

  I have never written a review on any property until this one. On arrival the place was filthy...sand everywhere...dirty bathrooms...dirty kitchen! We were so excited bc the home looked so nice online and it is but is very unkept. Our first night my child had several scorpians in her room and even found one in her shoe.She is 14 so needless to say she stayed in our room the entire week! Then came the roaches by the hundreds...the owners did call a pest control...much needed....then came the dead and some what half dead we had to clean up every morning! I would not stay in this house...period...in the Summer months...Winter may be ok....but we left calling it the Roach Motel and would never go back!

  Owner response: To any future guests of SEA SALT, the review process through VRBO is one that prohibits an owner of the site to delete even the most ridiculous of reviews and my husband and I understand and applaud the process even if it means that a review such as the one that you just read can be posted. We have asked that the 3 previous guests and 3 subsequent guests to the guest posting this review (each of who stayed in our home within days/weeks of this guest) post their own reviews to our property so that you can determine for yourselves the invalidity of this review. As owner's of this and only this rental home, we take great pride in this home and try very hard to accommodate all of our guests by handling any issues that arise with immediate attention. We responded to this guest by offering to have the home re-cleaned to which the guest refused (hmmmm?? don't know that I would ever refuse a free cleaning), and by sending the pest control company to spray for the "supposed" hundreds of bugs (who found absolutely NO scorpions but did see 3 small dead roaches in one of the bathrooms). Lastly, after this tenant's requests to have all of her money refunded (which we believe was the game all along), we finally refunded her cleaning fee.   We spent 3 wonderful weeks at Sea Salt. The whole experience was fabulous, right from the initial booking, to our departure. The home was spacious, decorated beautifully and situated in a pristine gated community. The owners were very helpful and always available for any questions that I had. We were close to shopping, recreational activities and of course, the beach. Nice view of the beach and sunsets from the 3rd floor Master Suite. On occassion we were able to watch deer grazing on the property. Such a nice peaceful retreat. Would totally recommend Sea Salt!

  The view from the balcony of the elevated clubhouse, the infinity pool, the hot tub, the workout room, spectacular all. The house exceeding expectations. Watching deer grazing in the 1400 acre preserve a mere 20 feet from your main floor screened-in porch. A very short drive to Grand Boulevard and Baytowne Wharf flush with great restaurants, shopping and fun. Just the right mix of quiet seclusion and metropolitan living. A slightly "inconvenient" direct beach access is more than offset by the terrific amenities and the house itself. Just catch the Jitney and you are at the beach in a jiffy. My family and I spent Jan/Feb and part of March and loved every minute. Gary Lindsley Clyde, Ohio

  Stunning.............best description of "Sea Salt", ranging from the McCormick home to the amenities of the Cypress Dunes development. We comfortably slept 14 with room to spare. The floorplan was well-planned to accommodate many and to allow for privacy, and the decorating was simply beautiful. This home should be featured in "Coastal Living". What a fantastic retreat! Thank you for the memories, McCormick family!

  Wow! What a house! We recently stayed at Sea Salt, and we had a wonderful time. There was so much room....we had 12 people and there was always space to spread out. We could all sit at the dining table and eat at the same time!!! We really loved the screen porch. It is beautiful in the evening. The pools were awesome and my husband loved the workout room in the mornings. We especially enjoyed the night swims in the infinity pool. The stars were so brilliant. That was the kids favorite thing! We always went to the closest beach and it was beautiful. It was such a peace of mind having the lifeguard so close (not that we needed it). It was also so easy to just keep all the "beach stuff" in the car for our daily beach trips. We rented the golf cart and it was so fun to "explore" the neighborhood. We also rented bikes and it was a fun ride to the beach. The bikes were also good for exploring the nearby wetlands. I would recommend this house to everyone! We are planning a trip next year:)
