What a great concept...pinballs, Ms PacMan, air-hockey, pool table, video arcade games plus more. What we loved was our kids had such a great time and we enjoyed that. In addition, there was no complaining. We'll tell our friends and hope to return son. Donna & Mike

We came as 3 families on our street. We get together often. This was a great find and the kids just loved it! Us parents enjoyed a little PacMan & pinball games. Highly recommend this Funhouse. Dennis & Jackie

There is 8 of us that go to Truckee every year for 5 years and the only place we will stay is the Fun House. It is very clean and sleep all of us very comfortably. All the games keep everyone very occupied. Would highly recommend.

We went to Tahoe for a combined family birthday / anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a cool place (great name; FunHouse). The vacation was a hit! The setting; w/ large decks front & rear, huge trees and close to everything was hard to beat. The arcade games (Ms.PacMan / Galaga / 2-pinballs / 2-Rush the Rock driving games and air hockey), kept everyone busy from start to finish. A++++ for us! John , Carolyn and kids

The FunHouse #1 was AWESOME! Lots to do inside (arcade games / TV’s / pool table / pinball) and more to do in the Tahoe Donner Community. We enjoyed the spacious size of the home and the peacefulness of the huge deck in the backyard. We give it a solid 10! Bryan & Doree K.

We went to Tahoe for a family (and friends) getaway. Not knowing what to expect or the surrounding areas (things to do) we were very happy with the FunHouse & all it had to offer! The kids, friends and even my husband (hard to please) had a great time. The home was spacious, all the games were a hit and the (2) large decks in front & rear what pleasant to relax & enjoy on. The kids (and husband; biggest kid) are be planning our next trip soon. Tammy W.

We just love all the cool features and amenities, Kerry's FunHouses have to offer. There is so much to do around Lake Tahoe, but coming back to the FunHouse was an added fun factor. My boys especially enjoyed playing the Pacman, pinball games and air hockey. My wife & I enjoyed not having to entertain the kids and spend extra money on keeping them busy & occupied. This is a great concept for family vacations. We'll be back, as soon as we can. Andy & Chris

We have a "Guys Trip" to Tahoe. We had a great time there. Lots to do and we got real competitive playing Golden Tee Golf, Ms. PacMan and pinball. We hadn't seen many of the unique games, they had to offer. Many said they can't wait to come back with their families. Harry M.

We go to Tahoe 2-3 times a year. We have stayed at places for a lot more $$$, that offer a lot less in return. We have found a place to call home. Can't wait to come back again. Kyle & Rebecca

This Vacation Home is wonderful! We had a great time. Very peaceful, pleasant and the games were super. I kicked my husband’s @#% playing Ms. PacMan. Boy that brings back memories of college days. We also enjoyed the Golden Tee Golf arcade and 2 pinball games. Dea & Chris

We stayed at one of the FunHouses in Lake Tahoe. We go 2-3 times a year. We have always had a good time at other places...but this FunHouse is over the TOP! It’s big, lots of room and the whole family, plus our friends, had a super time with all the fun games. What an added bonus! We have now found our permanent FunHouse. Carl & Janet

We do an annual golf trip to Lake Tahoe. We play several courses. It's like a High School re-union. Speaking of High School, all the classic arcade games brought us back to those days. Ms. PacMan, Centipede, Frogger, Galaga plus others. Man that was fun. Our favorite was the 4-player "Golden Tee Golf". We had lots of laughs, a little wine and a few dollars were exchanged. We'll be back in summer for another round. Jarred and buddies

We rented Fun House #1 for a quick getaway. Unfortunately, the home was less than I expected...from photos, reviews and talking with owner. First off, I arrived to a dryer full of wet musty towels with no laundry detergent to wash them ~ didn't want to do laundry on vacation! I had to contact the owner and wait until the next day to receive towels from the cleaning crew. There was not a single room that I could find with a working smoke detector. Many were just hanging from the ceiling and all batteries were removed. Speaking of batteries, there were no batteries in TV remote controls! The owner chalked this up to past renters taking them for their hand held video games. Don't know why the cleaning crew don't check these and have them ready to use for upcoming renters. The garage game room was less than clean. Bugs were all over the tables that had fallen from the light fixtures. We rent homes all over the world and we also rent out our own vacation homes. This house needs some upgrading and some definite handy work done. No smoke detectors in rental homes is out of compliance in the state of California! Won't go back!
Owner response:Our guests called me on few of these items; 1) Occasionally the kids have taken batteries out of remote controls and a couple smoke detectors for their hand held devices/toys. I offered to have someone replace these for them during their visit. She said no...that was OK. 2) Smoke detectors: the law requires (2), one for each level. We have (7), only a couple batteries were taken. 3) The clean crew had made all beds, replaced all linens w/ fresh and put a last load of towels, in dryer as a "Back-up" for them. They are thick and apparently they were damp when dry. I offered my clean crew to come by...she no, that was fine. As far as bugs in the garage; there may have been. We try to have all our FunHouses clean and ready, as if "we" were going to use them. We bend over to make all our guests happy. Thanks for your interest in our FunHouses. Kerry

We had a great time at the vacation funhouse. House is big and TV's, games & pool table dotted through out the rooms. Plenty of space to get busy or just relax. Kids took lots of picts to share with friends & school mates. Tony & Missy

We have stayed at all 3 of their FunHouses. We have stayed at other cabins, in the past…however, these are by far the BEST value! Our kids totally love all the classic arcade games, Ms.PacMan, pinball, air hockey etc (actually we do too). It’s the whole vacation package all in one. So much to do in and around the FunHouse! We highly recommend them and we’ll be back again soon. Carla

My family and I stayed at this house for a few days over the Christmas 2010 holiday. Good points - loved the wireless internet and the kids loved the games, although the two games in the living room (where everyone wanted to hang out) both required that we use quarters to operate. Bad points - this house is in serious need of a handyman. Entryway coat rack had pegs falling out and facing every which way, faucets were leaking (a lot!), closet doors were standing in the corners of the room (not attached to the closet), toilet paper was on the floor of all bathrooms because the toilet paper holders were all missing. Wallpaper was peeling in the upstairs bathroom. Seems like someone should be paying more attention to maintenance issues!
Owner response:We have owned this FunHouse for about 6 years. We have never had anyone write such a negative feedback as they did. So this is alarming to us and want to clarify a few things; This winter season has had some of the heaviest snow the Sierras have seen in dozens of years. In addition, they came during the Christmas Holiday (everybody was cominh and going during this peak time). We had a "Back to Back" booking meaning; guests coming, going and our cleaning crew scheduled in between that same day. On that same day (Holiday Peak Time) the previous guests left late, plus were very messy and hard on our home. The kids pulled 2 closet doors off, toilet paper holder off and left a few faucets leaking, they even damaged the wall paper in the bathroom & kids bunk bed room. Our clean crew did what best they could with weather the conditions (deep snow) and the short time frame within which to do it. We advertise our (7) “FREE” arcade games like; pinballs, Rush the Rock driving games, air hockey, pool table, PacMan etc. In fact, we actually have 12 games there. That is because; they do occasionally need repair and the Tech needs to travel 100+ miles from Sacramento. However, there are always at least 7-8+ games up and running for family fun. These guests never once even called me on any of the items they noted in their feedback. I would have graciously offered several things to them “if” they had, i.e. my local handyman to come by, my clean crew to re-visit, offered an extended stay or a FREE night, etc. As always, I promptly returned their deposit after they returned the key. Even after they returned the keys, there was no mention of any of the items they noted. Except, he wanted me to re-imburse him for a snow shovel he apparently purchased and didn't provide a receipt which I asked for. I think that was actually the main reason for the nasty feedback. I hope you can read between the lines on these guests. We also hope you too can stay with us soon! Thanks for your understanding. Kerry & Tammy Richard (owners)
