Located on Peabody Drive between the village centers of Northeast Harbor and Seal Harbor, this new, architecturally designed shorefront home offers dramatic views of Bear, Sutton and Cranberry Islands, as well as a private pebble beach with picnic table and mooring. The cottage is within easy walking distance of Acadia's carriage paths and hiking trails, a short drive to its Jordan Pond entrance and a public, sandy beach. The house is well insulated for a warm and comfortable year-round retreat.
First Floor has a spacious Living and Dining area and porch face shorefront and ocean. Private den with queen-sized, pullout couch and adjacent full bath. A full kitchen and utility room with new appliances.
Second Floor has a large master bedroom with high, two story cathedral ceiling, king sized bed, sitting area and large picture windows. Master Bath/Dressing Room is equipped with whirlpool tub, shower and walk-in closets. Second bedroom has two twin beds convertible to a king-sized bed, bay window and attached private bathroom.
Third Floor has a good-sized, study above Master Bedroom, commands a view of the entrance to Northeast Harbor and contains a double bed.

This house is what you see. The pictures represent what you see when you look out the window. We had a great time. With two living rooms and a sitting area in the master we were able to have peace and quiet when we wanted it. The location was great, easy access to the park and every where else. Library overlooks the master suite, With great views as well. The owner's were easy to deal with and answered all my questions. I would recommend this to others.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.
