Lovely lakefront home in the heart of Lakeport - Clear Lake, CA Rental Home in Lakeport This lovely three bedroom two bath lakefront home is available for weekend, weekly and monthly rentals. Located in the heart of Lakeport, Clear Lake's largest community, this very conveniently located home is only a few blocks from the village park, shops and restaurants. Dock your boat right on the property. A real treat is the large backyard not often found with lakefront property with a 100 feet of lake frontage and fantastic 180 degree views of the lake and Mount Konocti. Clear Lake is famous for its bass fishing and this property has its own private fishing lagoon. Enjoy a short stroll into town to enjoy the summer Friday night concerts in the village park, the local museum or some of Lakeport's street fairs and activities. Wineries, casino and Konocti Harbor Resort offering top name entertainment are only a short drive away. The large living room area has a vaulted ceiling and the spacious sun-porch offers comfortable wicker furniture for the perfect place to enjoy the fantastic vistas. The three brightly decorated bedrooms offer high quality mattresses with three Queen beds, two singles and pull out sofa and each bedroom has its own TV. Vacationers must provide their own bed & bath linens. We have a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. All you will need will be your bathing suits, suntan lotion, beddings and towels and you are all set! A separate laundry room, office area and wireless DSL make for very comfortable vacationing. Clear Lake's beauty is about two hours or less from San Francisco, Sacramento, Mendocino and Napa, St Helena and Calistoga making it a very convenient place to visit. With so much to offer, including boating, fishing, sailing, jet skiing, wine tasting, local activities, and concerts, this location is the perfect spot to vacation. The ever-changing views are breathtakingly awesome during the day...but when the sun goes down, the twinkling of the lights around the lake and a million stars will keep you captivated for hours. After a weekend here, you may just want to stay longer. That's OK... just call us and we'll be happy to extend your stay (if available). The area is home to uncrowded and intimate wineries, great dining, golfing, world-class fishing and watersports. We're close to Robinson Rancheria Casino and across the lake from KONOCTI Resort and Spa (with a GREAT concert series). And then, of course, there's our favorites...Reading, Relaxing, Eating, Napping, Sipping Wine and entertaining friends on the lake! There's so much to do near here... it is a short, lovely drive from the Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley where you can dine in fine restaurants, visit mud and mineral baths, shop and tour wineries... OR... ...you may just prefer the local uncrowded and "undiscovered" wineries in the Lake County Wine Country (such as Jim Fetzer's Ceago Winegarden, Gregory Graham, Langtry Estates-Guenoc, Tulip Hill, Steele, Shannon Ridge, Wildhurst, Rosa d'Oro, Abbott, Brassfield Estates, Ployez and Monte Lago). In fact California just designated some of its newest Appellations to the "High Valley Appellation" and Red Hills Appellation" regions near here. There are excellent restaurants for dining just a short walk from the house in Lakeport and not far from Upper Lake, Cobb, Middletown and Kelseyville. ABOUT LAKE COUNTY AND CLEARLAKE Clearlake is the largest natural freshwater lake in the State of California and second oldest lake in the world! Visitors enjoy fishing, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, parasailing, water-skiing, boating, and riding jet skis. There are 11 free boat launch ramps around the lake, and individuals can rent boats and personal watercraft from many local businesses. Clearlake can be found in beautiful Lake County, approximately 90 minutes northwest of Sacramento and 90 minutes northeast of San Francisco. For thirteen consecutive years Lake County has had the cleanest air in all of California. Winters are mild here, generally 40s and 50s and Summer temperatures are usually in the 80s and 90s. The lake itself is truly magnificent. It stretches nearly twenty miles in length and includes over 100 miles of shoreline.
