Like new oceanfront condominium just 75 yards from the water. In June 2007, we completed installation of new floor tile throughout including the lanai. In addition, the ample bathroom has been completely remodeled with new wall and floor tile as well as new lighting and all fixtures and large glass block shower. We also added a VCR/DVD player, lighted ceiling fan in the kitchen and outdoor ceiling fan in the lanai. In 2006, this unit was redecorated with new draperies, newly upholstered furnishings with Waverly and Robert Allen decorator fabrics and new tropical artwork. Dishwasher and automatic hot water heater replaced in 2008. TV, cooktop, and refrigerator replaced in 2005/2006. Window air conditioner upgraded with new split unit air-conditioner. Freshly painted in 2007. This unit is in top condition!

Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the Condominium or within a short walk to the water. Unit located in the Sand Dollar Condominium complex. Complex has restaurant/bar on the property and many others within close walking distance including Patagonia, a new Argentinian steakhouse situated on the water. Bonaire Dive and Adventure diving center on the property with instruction, equipment rentals, scheduled boat dives and unlimited shore diving available. Grocery/convenience store and bank adjacent to the property. Wireless internet in the unit and international cell phone access available.

  • It's only been 5 months and we're ready to book a flight back to Bonaire, Sweet Bonaire! Fantastic diving for a rookie like me who needed open water certified. Available right onsite at the Sand Dollar Condominiums are the most knowledgeable divemasters and accessible world reknowned shore diving at unbelievably reasonable costs! My very first dive began right off their pier with a spotted eagle ray coming straight at me while my divebuddies watched in awe. That was a big "OK"! We were very comfortable in our immaculate accomodating studio with friendly, efficient housekeeping service and friendly neighbors, too! We enjoyed breakfasts and lunches (BLT's...mmm!)on our ground floor patio overlooking the sea with a gentle breeze and live "wildlife" entertainment! With diving right outside our door we were able to complete 23 dives, each one unique. We dined at delicious restaurants within walking distance and explored the entire island enough to want to return for more of everything! The amenities at our tidy well-equipped and decorated condo were much more than we expected, including a variety of music and literature, a gourmet kitchen, dynamite sleeping, a huge walk-in shower, comfy outside lounging chairs, and plenty of storage space. And of course those gorgeous sunsets right before our eyes every night...and swimming or snorkeling right off the patio! We loved our home away from home and cherish these memories and are planning to return ASAP!

  • I stayed in the condo for 5 days(not long enough)in January 08'.It couldn't have been better.The condo is clean,very comfortable and well decorated.It has a wonderful little balcony that looks out over some nice landscaping out to the beautiful ocean.The diving is amazing! The island is so unique.The people are very friendly and it has a real laid back feeling to it.This was my first visit to Bonaire and good lord willing,not my last.Mitzi and Denny were very friendly and helpful.I hope to return to this amazing island paradise someday and when I do,I would love to stay in this wonderful little condo again.   • We loved Bonaire! The diving just out front of the condo was some of the best that we found on the island. Bonaire Dive & Adventure was a pleasure to work with. The only down fall that we found is they locked the nitrox tanks up at 4pm, but air was available 24 hours a day. They had storage lockers that held 4 tanks. The gear storage was clean and handy to use. Just up from the dock, it made it very convenient to grab your gear and jump in off the dock and made after diving that much easier having storage so close. There is a bit of a walk, but better than hauling your gear back and forth from your rooms. They had several rinse tanks and even had one for cameras. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and they even have their own naturalist on staff who does classes and nature dives throughout the week. The people on the island were friendly, helpful and laid back. The condo was very comfortable, clean and had the necessities...refrigerator, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave (although the buttons and directions were in Dutch, we still managed), utensils, plates, etc. We never had a problem with having enough hot water, although you do have to set it each day. There was ample dressers and hangers although not a huge amount of room for bags and such (to be expected in a studio layout). We never turned on the TV so we can't comment about that...too much amazing diving! The owners were incredibly helpful and gave us detailed information of what to do, where to eat, shopping, etc. We found their information very useful having never visited Bonaire before. The condo had sliding back doors that locked from the inside and outside which was very convenient. The air conditioner and ceiling fans kept the condo very comfortable. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely come back!
