Located in the heart of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, this 2,500 sq ft three bedroom, two bath log home is the perfect location for a romantic getaway or family vacation.
Kick back and enjoy the cool tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains while relaxing by the gas log fireplace in the cozy living area. This comfortable room features soaring ceilings and inviting seating to watch your favorite DVD on TV or simply reflect on the events of the day.
The fully equipped kitchen, with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, is a great place to prepare your favorite meal which you can enjoy in the adjacent dining area, featuring a beautiful oak table that seats up to 10. Or if you prefer, take your meal outside and enjoy the table of 4 on the engaging deck surrounded by nature.
There are two main floor guest rooms. One room is equipped with a queen size bed, dresser and TV/DVD player while the other room has two queen size beds, dresser and its’ own TV/DVD combo. The large full bath is located in between the two bedrooms on this level.
Outside, the peace of the surrounding woods and distant views of mountain peaks can be enjoyed from any of the comfortable chairs on the large covered deck. For some, the views are best enjoyed from the soothing waters of the bubbling Hot Tub looking out over the canopied forest.
Back inside, the upstairs loft serves as a media room and family gathering spot, offering a TV and DVD player all connected through surround sound for your viewing entertainment. There is also a new Wii console so don’t forget to bring your games along with you.
The upstairs master suite has a beautiful king size bed and full private bath, reading nook, and a TV/DVD player.
For the perfect viewing of that sporting event, favorite TV show, or movie the lower level features a 55” flat screen TV, DVD player with surround sound. Or perhaps enjoy a spirited game of foosball or ping pong.

We had such a wonderful time here. Snow! shopping, Danial Boone Inn, Grandfather mountain. But the best times were with each other here.

What a wonderful cabin and setting. If you were taken blindfolded to the cabin you would think you were hundreds of miles from civilization, not 10 minutes from downtown Boone. The cabin is like a five star hotel and the ammenities are awesome. There is something to do for the entire family or just sit out the large outside deck and relax. My son and I will remember this trip for the rest of our lives.

Fantastic, Beautiful, Relaxing...I could go on forever! We have been coming to Boone for over 20 years and this has been one of the most wonderful trips for our family. I have felt the peace here that our family needed to relax and reconnect. Last night, my husband and I enjoyed the views from the back deck. As I write, I am listening to my teenager and his Dad play ping-pong and the laughter is intoxicating. The teenager asked if we could come back to this exact house. (That is a MAJOR compliment). I can not thank you enough for sharing your home with us. I could write more, but the hot tub is calling my name...can you hear it?

It was a very relaxing time at Amen Corner. The cabin was so well stocked with beautiful views, games,hot tub and peace and quiet, that we were tempted to just stay there the whole week. We did drive to some local sites and it was always great to return to the porch for an evening drink and dinner on the deck. I would recommend "Amen Corner" to anyone that wants good times and good memories on their vacation.

This was a great get together for 3 brothers and family. The house is wonderful. From the game room to the hot tub, to wine on the deck to the well stocked kitchen. It was a super great place. We will return.
