Walk to the Gold Coast Beach of Sea Pines within minutes. This beach is close to the Sea Pines Beach Club for light lunches, drinks, and restrooms and yet at the same time it is peaceful and never crowded. The Gold Coast Beach is considered to be the best beach on the island. For varied beach activities, you can use the nearby Beach Club or Coligny Circle and the beach area is an easy walk.
The eighteenth green of the Sea Pines Ocean Golf Course is right outside the back-door. You can watch the golfers from the back patio. There is a lagoon on both sides of the villa with abundant wildlife. The other side of the villa has a wonderful courtyard to cook and dine outside or just relax in the shade.
The conference center is right across the street with a pool (heated in the early spring and late fall), fitness cneter and bike rentals. You get one free hour of tennis per day at the South Beach Racquet Club. The bike path leads you to Harbourtown, and South Beach and all throughout Sea Pines. Horseback riding is close by in Sea Pines as well as the Nature Preserve (600 acre forest preserve with horse trails, nature trails, fishing lakes, cook-out facilites, flower fields, boadwalks, etc). In the summertime, you can ride the complimentary Sea Pines Trolley to Harbourtown. Sea Pines has miles of integrated leisure trails leading to all of the highlights of Sea Pines. Sea Pines has two marinas for boat/jet ski rentals, charter fishing, dolphin cruises, dockage and fueling facilities. You can shop and eat in Sea Pines at the Sea Pines Center, South Beach Marina Village or Harbourtown Village. Sea Pines has four golf courses including the famed home of the MCI Heritage. Playgrounds are located at South Beach and Harbourtown as well.
The villa has easy ground level access, all on one level with no one above or below you. The inside has an inviting Tommy Bahama theme. The living room and dining room are quite large. It also has a sunroom with a table for puzzles and games. We have an extensive collection of adult and children's books, puzzles and games. The master bedroom has a sitting room with a desk and wireless internet service.
The master has a king bed with a private bath. The front bedroom is nice size with a queen-size bed and overlooks the courtyard. The middle bedroom overlooks the courtyard, as well, and has two twin beds. The second bath sits between the two bedrooms.
The kitchen is light, bright, and well equipped. The living room bookshelf is loaded with many best-sellers and shelving holds many games for the young and not so young. We have many repeat guests that enjoy the size and comfort and the accessibility to that wonderful private beach.
