Enjoy beautiful Lake Seed in the North Georgia Mountains. This is a small lake, that is in between Lake Burton and Lake Rabun. We have no marina on the lake, which keeps it quiet and peaceful. Boaters simply bring in their own gas.If you would like to rent a boat, there is a company that can supply one for rental. If you need more room, VRBO # 228727 is right next door.
Our home is heart of pine walls and floors. It has a boathouse and a canoe is available for renters to use. You may also bring your own boat. The town of Clayton is nearby, with adorable shops and galleries. There are hiking trails within walking distance of the house. If you really feel the need to be disconnected from hectic city life, we are here.
Rabun County receives the highest amount of rainfall in Georgia, so the area is very lush. Also, though we have air conditioning, we rarely use it, because even in August the temperature is pleasant. The house is beautifully furnished with rustic furniture and rugs. Boat rentals are available.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was relaxing and peaceful and we are planning a return visit. Unlike most lake properties, you can drive conveniently right to the front door which makes unloading easy. The lake has very little traffic. We rented a boat from the website provided and had a delightful time. I would definitely recommend this and the value for what we spend was incredible!
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
